I know it's not technically Christian related but it does show the other side of a fanaticism, one that may, one day, become our own nightmare if the far, far right get their way to make the US a theocracy.

This is the  most horrible thing I've seen lately.

I'm trying hard to remember that the Islamic religion has some good things about it. But, at the same time, I read things like this and I have to wonder why we have any diplomatic ties to them. And the Saudi's are supposed to be the most advanced of the cultures in the Moslem enclave.

I'm just so very sad about this. I don't want to start a stereotype but reading this, and then reading about kidnapping and beheading journalists or blowing up children with car bombs and I have to just wonder if the world has turned upside down.
