Hello. I am new and was referred by someone over at Little Details. I am seeking some information for a writing project and have need to find a Christian sect to use in the project which would have been active in the U.K. in the mid 1960's
Additional details behind cut per group rules:

This group would be literal Bible believers, and would have used fear, control and physical abuse to children to keep them in line.

Could anyone give me a few possibilities to research further? This is specifically set in the Wales area, northern U.K.
