A friend of mine posted about this election being the Apocalypse (because the copier stopped printing at 666, of course). She ended her post by saying, "If you hear trumpets in the east, pray real hard!"

So this is how I imagine it goes:

Trumpets in the east. The Good Christians are all taken up into heaven. The Old Ones arise. Bast looks at Anubis.

"Man, I thought those guys would never leave! Who invited them anyway?"

Hades shrugs. "Sorry. When that Jesus dude was hanging around with me for three days, he seemed pretty cool. I had no idea his friends would be so self-centered...."
