What is known about the motivations and goals of the Christian Reconstructionists? Is this a union of those who are backlashing against the secular culture/government and those who see Christian Reconstructionists as a vehicle to political power? How much is business involved this time around? Have there been any moderate Christian groups brought into this flock, or is the majority of adherents leaning hard to the dominionist theocracy side? Is there any outcome to this movement besides a theocracy? Thanks!

As a follow-up to the post on the anti-Hindu AFA action alert, the latest on this issue on the One News Now website is a fearmongering article claiming that Thursday's Senate prayer will "start the countdown to judgment". AFA spokesman Buddy Smith says that he hopes that senators will, "for conscience sake," choose not to enter the room until the prayers are over.
