Former Pastor, and current Film news guru John Campea is making a documentary.

Its called Prince of Peace: God of War which deals with the theological conflict of the Christian Right supporting the War (something Jesus explicitly preaches against). The trailer is available at the website linked in the title there.

Much of the documentary will not only focus on how Christians justify supporting the war, but how the Christian Right is being used as a political tool. John managed to secure interviews with people all across Canada and the US including Bruxy Cavey, Sheila Copps, and Dr Tony Campolo.

It is scheduled to be complete in October 2006. I am really looking forward to seeing this.

Many people think that war, in general, is a Bad & Unfortunate Thing. But the Rapture-ready crowd asks...'Is it time to get excited?'

More than 3,000 pro-Israel evangelical Christians will be in town next week for a "Washington/Israel summit" to push the Bush administration toward stronger support for the Jewish state.

.. because, oh, I don't know, seeing people caught in their hypocrisy is funny? And maybe because this family is a known heavy hitter in the dominionist movement and it's kind of strange that he's drinking anyway? You be the judge.

GOLDEN, Colorado (AP) -- Beer company executive, chief commercial pitcher and former Senate candidate Pete Coors confirmed Thursday he was cited in May for driving under the influence of alcohol after leaving a friend's wedding celebration.

"I made a mistake," Coors said in a prepared statement. "I should have planned ahead for a ride. For years, I've advocated the responsible use of our company's products. That's still my message, and our company's message, and it's the right message.

"I am sorry that I didn't follow it myself."
