authored by Bryce Christensen of the Dominionist-oriented Howard Center for Family , Religion and Society is published by Transaction Publishers, a nonprofit organization subsidized by Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey. Transaction has occupied rent-free office space on the Rutgers campus for over thirty years.

This book is garbage, and I wonder if the administration of Rutgers has any idea of the kind of right-wing and Dominionist crap that they're causing New Jersey taxpayers to help publish. Take a look through the catalog at Transaction's website for examples. Although most of their backlist consists of tired old reprints of anthropological and sociological studies of yesteryear, more recent titles are junk, better suited for a publisher like Regnery than for one pretending to be scholarly or academic.

Bush Urges Graduates to Use Science to Protect Human Dignity

yep. the man who has purge science of scientists and scientific method, is now telling grads that SCIENCE can improve the Human Condition.... which, when you think of it, makes a lot of sense. after all, Dominionist Theory promulgates that saving of the Human Soul is all that mattes and once that is accomplished, let the Body die.
