It was a nice day out, and Benji really didn't feel like being cooped up inside for the better part of it; after stuffing a couple textbooks and a notebook into his backpack, he slipped into his sneakers and shouldered the bag before heading outside. He couldn't keep from grinning as the sun hit his face and he sighed contently, looking around to scope out a good spot. A lot of the other students seemed to be taking advantage of the weather, too, but there wasn't anyone he felt particularly comfortable disrupting. Until he spotted Scotty. He wasn't close with the other boy, but he recognized him from a few classes and the last round of auditions, so he figured there was no harm in trying. He worried, though, that Scotty wouldn't turn him away even if he didn't want the company - the other boy was far too nice.

He noticed, as he got closer, that the other boy was drawing something, and he smiled to himself, setting his bag down on the opposite side of the picnic table. "Mind if I sit here?" he asked, hoping his actions hadn't startled his classmate - he'd seemed rather focused.

Gavin was probably in bed, either sleeping or falling asleep - that's what Vince and Benji were counting on, at least. It seemed plausible, given that pain medications usually made people pretty tired. Slipping into Gavin's room - honestly, did anyone at Dalton think to lock their door? - Benji pressed a finger to his lips as he looked at Vince before stepping towards Gavin's bed. Except, well. After all he'd gone through, sneaking up him probably wasn't the best of plans, so instead of simply slipping into bed with him, Benji called his name. Quiet enough not to startle him, but loud enough to be heard if Gavin was, in fact, awake. He couldn't quite refrain from reaching out to push Gavin's hair away from his face, though, smiling slightly as he looked down at the other boy before turning his gaze to Vince again.

After what had been said last night, Benji had some idea as to what was probably upsetting Gavin, but he didn't really want to assume anything. It wasn't like Gavin's whole life revolved around himself and Vince - he had a lot of family problems right then, too. Whatever it turned out to be, he just wanted to be there for the other boy - Gavin had done so much for him recently, and Benji was more than willing to return the favor. Plus, he just didn't like seeing Gavin upset, so if he could get him smiling again or give him someone to vent to, he would. It didn't take long for him to get from his room to Gavin's, and he knocked on the door, waiting for Gavin to answer; he didn't want to just barge in and disrupt him.

What: They've been screwing with Benji's medication again; discontinuation symptoms can't be tamed.

Benji knew better than to ignore the way the words on the page in front of him began to run together, but he did it anyway, telling himself that it would pass. Closing his eyes for a moment, he set his elbows against the desk, head resting in his hands as he tried to wait it out. If he was lucky, it might be limited and fly completely under everyone else's radar. It wasn't until he'd become far too aware of his own (somewhat irregular) heartbeat that he knew something was amiss. Of course, the logical thing to do would be to stay in the classroom full of people; instead, Benji raised his hand and asked for permission to be excused. Once granted that permission, he gathered his notes and slipped them into his bag. Standing up, he grabbed onto the desk for support as subtly as he could and slung his backpack over his shoulder before making for the door.

His intention was to go to Nurse Connie's office, but his body had other plans; there was no way Benji was going to make it to the Moorehead when he felt dizzier with every step that he took. Staying upright was becoming a bit of a feat and he ducked into the first bathroom he passed, sliding down the wall into a sitting position as a tremor ran through him.

Please let these be the last auditions before Nationals... Blaine crossed his fingers as he stepped into the auditorium, reaching up to adjust his tie (stupid Warbler traditions, requiring full-uniform for even weekend auditions) as he made his way through the auditorium. Things were already set up from the Rent auditions. There was no need to change anything.

Blaine took a seat in the auditorium behind the little table set up and dug out his brand new zombie coloring book and crayons. Time to illustrate some chaos and bloodshed.

Staying in the lines was for pussies.

The sky had long-since darkened and the fire was starting to die out when Benji finally forced himself to pull away from Vince. Stretching a little, he gave a quiet whine before nuzzling back in, pressing a few kisses to his boyfriend’s neck as he wrapped his arms around the older teen’s waist. “Can we go to bed, now?” he mumbled, pulling back only slightly to look up at him. They’d had a pretty long – but insanely fun – day, and it was really starting to set in; Benji wanted some time alone with Vince before complete exhaustion decided to hit.
