It was a full forty-five minutes after practice was scheduled to get out that Blaine finally left the Warbler's room to head back to Johnson, hands shoved in his pockets. The days were beautiful, but the nights were still cold. He swiped his ID to get into the dorm, but he paused outside the first door. Mr. P was probably home. And Mr. P... maybe he could help. Blaine always did advise people with problems to talk to people who might have solutions. He sighed and lifted his hand, knocking at the door.

Christmas gifts for just about everyone (except the teachers. For some reason, people have been telling Blaine that that would be weird. But he brought them all homemade (made by his mother) toffee anyway.)

Most gifts were mailed to people. Jammers and Mr. P's will be given after the break, and Kurt and Sam will get theirs in person on Christmas.

He couldn't sleep any more. Just couldn't do it. Groaning, Blaine pressed the heels of his hands to his forehead before rolling over and brushing a light kiss over Ben's cheek. “Love you, Jammers,” he murmured to his sleeping bedmate before slipping out of bed. He pulled on a full uniform from the clothes scattered on the floor (sleeves were too long again, dammit!) and made his way to Ben's desk to scrawl a little note of explanation. He paused at the door again to give Ben a little smile before slipping out into the hall and heading downstairs in his socked feet. Nobody else was awake at this hour. Blaine wasn't even really awake, covering a yawn as he trudged up to Mr. P's door and knocked.

Dragomir's first day of classes... He was dreading this - each one. Beyond dreading this. What if he screwed it all up some how? What if some secretly psychopathic student decided to stab him with a compass thing? But this was supposed to be a very nice private school and so his worries, he was sure, were unfounded. That did not stop them from creeping into his head at all hours.

He paused in a hallway, flipping through a file, not realizing that he was underneath the mistletoe...

"SIMON!" Blaine ran around the perimeter of the school campus, checking every last hiding place he could remember from his four years at Dalton. "Simon!!"

Simon's last post had concerned Blaine a little, but more than that, the lack of response to his post had worried him. Simon wasn't in his room, Blaine had confirmed, though he had left his Shakespeare stuff behind. A search of the dorm had turned up Simon's phone by a computer in the basement lab, but Simon hadn't gone off to use the bathroom or anything. He hadn't signed out with the guard, which meant he was either still on-campus or running away on foot. And Blaine was running out of on-campus places to look. He had made his own plea for help finding the missing girl, but he didn't think there'd be too much outpouring of support.

That meant Blaine was climbing the tree to get over the fence on his own, grateful it was a Saturday so he was in jeans and a sweater instead of his usual uniform.

A coat, though, maybe he should have grabbed his coat and gloves before running out into the cold December morning... "SIMON!"
