Alphonse sat upon a wooden bench, flipping through his new copy of The Crying of Lot 49, still able to catch notes of that new book smell in the wintry air. He continued to find himself rereading entire pages at a time. The appeal was lost on him yet he was determined to read it through to the end. Perhaps the novel should have come with an encyclopedia.

He paused for a moment and checked the time. 4:05pm. He wondered if he should have started walking; perhaps he'd catch Oliver while on the move. Or maybe it's best to remain in one spot and see if he appears. How embarrassing would it be if they kept passing each other? He chuckled at the thought and continued his book.

It's an acting program but since we had a switch of drama teachers, I'm not sure if Mr Barry knows me well enough to write one so I was hoping you could write something that makes me sound awesome.
