Just to make sure Mikey didn't show up before him, Blaine timed his trip to Dalton to arrive before the last classes let out. Good thing he did, too, because he spent a good ten minutes chatting with the security guard (and getting a guest pass!) and another ten chatting up Mrs. S. behind the counter as he got himself a hot chocolate. Oh, he missed this place.

As the first students started to filter in once classes were out, Blaine looked around for one that could be Mikey. Shy with snakebites? That wasn't your typical Dalton student, at least...

The next morning, Colby and Ben were having breakfast. Blaine joined them. Colby tried to back out of Katy Perry, sparking a fight between Blaine and Colby. Not wanting to fight, Blaine surrendered his own Katy Perry ticket and walked out, returning to his hotel room where Noah had gone back to bed.))

Blaine posted his journal entry and took a deep breath before he pushed away from his computer. One more thing to do before he really threw himself into packing. He pulled out his keyring and unhooked The Key. The Attic Key. "Good times, ol' buddy," he whispered to it, squeezing it in his hand before going over to the bunk beds. There was a way, if he could stand on the mattress of his and push this corner of Jude's up, to wedge the key in between the frames... there. Just like how he'd found it. Good luck to whichever RA had his room next year...

All of Blaine's plans for the day were scrapped when he heard Ben had to go to lunch with his father. Blaine spent the afternoon sitting in his window, eyes glued to the path for Ben's return. When Ben finally did return, his entire posture and expression screaming of misery, Blaine leapt for the door, tearing down the four flights of steps and bursting out of Johnson to wrap his arms tightly around Ben in a hug. His father wasn't around (Blaine had checked for that, at least), so Blaine could hug Ben without fearing the repercussions. "You survived!"
