Dalton Academy for Boys - a Glee RPG

Sebastian ordered a metric shit-ton of chocolate from France, and it's being delivered this week. He got some simple chocolate bars for his teachers (no harm in a bit of sucking up, right?) and a box of chocolates for most of his friends, people he talks to but doesn't really hang out with (Scotty and Addison fall in this category). Warblers got a box of decadent truffles, minimum. A few of his closer friends got some Parisian tourist tchotchkes in addition to the massive box of truffles.

Ron didn't get any special gifts, but he did get a big box of truffles like the other Warblers.

Tak brought lots of goodies home from NY. They include the following:

Backdated: These gifts were given when Tak returned from New York on Monday.

For Ron, a set of pirate pandas.
For Evan, a vampire panda and an innocent victim panda.
For Raf, two winter pandas.
For Benji, two casual pandas.
For Blake, lots of shirts about dancing.

Also included in each of the above is a panda greeting card that blasts a home recorded version of a not-so-unfamiliar former-Warbler singing “Call Me Maybe” with a cell phone number and email address written inside.

Tak is also pack-muling about thirty boxes of panda cookies to be distributed among Warblers and other Daltonites.

With auditions and try-outs nearly out of the way, and the juniors beginning to panic about their SATs, Benji was finally taking the time to start thinking seriously about college. He knew that almost all of his friends were looking at New York, and Benji had always thought that he would follow suite, be it for college or a photography internship - but, now, he wasn't so sure. He'd spoken with Ben about Dartmouth a few times now, and the older boy was doing a really good job of selling the school. But with so much else riding on New York, he didn't want to make any rash decisions without checking things out for himself - and it was only fair. Assignments were already beginning to pile up, and wanting to get his college plans settled and out of the way before life got too hectic, Benji had decided that there was no time like the present to set that in motion.

He wasn't sure if Ben would be free at the moment, but he reached for his phone anyway, figuring that he could leave a message. Getting up, he looked over at Ron to let him know that he was going to go make a call, and then slipped out of the room. It took going outside to find the privacy he wanted - he wasn't ready to admit to his friends that he was looking at Dartmouth, nor was he particularly excited about what Raf's reaction to that would be - and he settled onto one of the benches just outside of Johnson before pulling up Ben's contact information. He couldn't help smiling to himself a little as he looked at the other boy's photo, but the moment passed, and he shook his head before hitting 'call' and lifting the phone to his ear.

Even though Ben had reassured him that he wasn't being a bother, Benji still felt bad for pulling him away from the others. Especially since he was sure that their time together would be a bit if a downer for the former Daltonite. Still, he wanted to see the other boy and couldn't bring himself to back out. If that made him selfish, so be it. After dropping his things in his hotel room, Benji had texted the older boy to see if he'd arrived at the hotel yet; receiving an affirmative response, he'd grabbed a light hoodie and slipped back into the hall. Grateful that the hotel wasn't too difficult to navigate, the Warbler made his way back to the lobby to wait for Ben.

Sitting down in one of the seats near the doors, Benji pulled out his phone, fiddling with it idly for a distraction. He bit his lip, glancing up every once in a while to keep an eye out for his friend. He hated how off he'd been feeling lately, and he was trying so hard to act like himself, but, truth be told, Benji was tired. He didn't want to have to act like himself - he wanted to be able to be himself again.

As many of you have learned by now, Dalton Junior Gavin Sinclair lost his life in a tragic accident this past Easter weekend. The funeral arrangements have been decided and are as follows:

Saturday, April 14th, 2012, beginning at 11:00am at Temple Israel in Columbus, and will be followed by a processional to [____] Cemetery.

All students and staff are welcome. For those of you who've never attended a Jewish funeral service, please read up on the proper etiquette.
