With auditions and try-outs nearly out of the way, and the juniors beginning to panic about their SATs, Benji was finally taking the time to start thinking seriously about college. He knew that almost all of his friends were looking at New York, and Benji had always thought that he would follow suite, be it for college or a photography internship - but, now, he wasn't so sure. He'd spoken with Ben about Dartmouth a few times now, and the older boy was doing a really good job of selling the school. But with so much else riding on New York, he didn't want to make any rash decisions without checking things out for himself - and it was only fair. Assignments were already beginning to pile up, and wanting to get his college plans settled and out of the way before life got too hectic, Benji had decided that there was no time like the present to set that in motion.

He wasn't sure if Ben would be free at the moment, but he reached for his phone anyway, figuring that he could leave a message. Getting up, he looked over at Ron to let him know that he was going to go make a call, and then slipped out of the room. It took going outside to find the privacy he wanted - he wasn't ready to admit to his friends that he was looking at Dartmouth, nor was he particularly excited about what Raf's reaction to that would be - and he settled onto one of the benches just outside of Johnson before pulling up Ben's contact information. He couldn't help smiling to himself a little as he looked at the other boy's photo, but the moment passed, and he shook his head before hitting 'call' and lifting the phone to his ear.

Ron needed to know what was going on. He did not put the phone away for even a moment after finishing the text conversation with Benji and called Vince´s number, hoping the other boy would pick up soon. He could not be sure if Vince even could use his phone where he was, but there was hope.

After checking his emails and browsing the Dalton homepage, Ben had been rather surprised to read Gavin's entry. As such, he had been extremely concerned upon reading the comments, mostly in regards to Benji. After having had a deep discussion regarding sex and relationships with the younger boy whilst in New York for Nationals, Ben figured that he was right to be a little worried. Therefore he promptly closed his laptop before grabbing his phone and jacket, opting to take the call outside of the hotel where he wouldn't be disturbed. He simply wanted to see if the younger boy was okay, to hear his voice and perhaps offer to be there to talk to should he need it.

The first time he called Benji's cell, it went to voicemail. Frowning at the welcome screen on his phone, he sighed and rested the device against his forehead for a moment before deciding to call back. As the phone rang, he paced up and down a few times as he waited.
