Thomas was quite happy to have someone address him and he grinned at the other boy. He was not familiar with him and he guessed the boy was a bit younger than he was, but none of this was an obstacle. "Hey!" he said. "Thanks! Yours´s great too. Are you a sci-fi fan?" Thomas was himself a casual admirer of science fiction. Not a dedicated fanatic, but he did enjoy a good space opera from time to time. And his goldfish were named after those from Red Dwarf for a reason.
