As the Warblers came in to the second-to-last Warbler meeting of the year, Blaine passed out ballots. "You have to return these to me before I let you have the snacks!" he warned them.

"Oh," Noah said, "I voted for Benji." Rules were beneath him, obviously. He didn't care who heard. "I was torn between him and Raf but I figured he'd be a shoo-in and didn't need my vote."

He bit off half a Twizzler and then offered the rest to Ben, shifting a little so that he wasn't resting all of his weight on Ben's legs, but not getting off either. "Want some?"

Rolling his eyes at his friend, Ben sighed. So much for anonymity. He did see Noah's point though. Raf had campaigned hard for his spot on the council and he was generally well liked by the group. He was clearly passionate about the Warblers and Ben didn't blame Noah for believing that Raf already had a place.

Eying the Twizzler apprehensively, Ben leaned in and bit off a small chunk from the end before giving his friend a grateful smile. "Thanks, Nono," he said, his eyes returning to the paper as he carefully began to write.

"No problemo." Noah sat back a little to give Ben room to write. No need to crowd him. He didn't bother peeking at the ballot, either; unless Ben were voting for Jack, nothing he could do would surprise him.

Glancing around the room, at all of his fellow Warblers, he let out a soft sigh. Not that he was getting sentimental. Of course not. He was a man. But he was going to miss this. "Fucking weird," he said. "This being our last meeting, I mean. Do you think you'll do anything with singing in college?"

Ben continued writing as Noah spoke. He paused mid-way through a sentence at the statement though, also looking up and frowning as he peered around. "It is weird," he confessed quietly, his eyes lingering on several different faces. God, he was going to miss this. All of it.

"I don't know," he confessed a moment later as he returned to writing. He hadn't really thought much about what he was going to do once he got to college. "I suppose I'll see how much other stuff I have to do before making any decisions." Turning his eyes back to the ballot, he finished what he was writing before setting his pen down and sighing. Now that he was done, he waved his paper in front of Noah. "Go and give that to Blaine, please?"

Noah nodded, taking the ballot from Ben's hand and climbing up off his lap. He crossed the room to Blaine, tucked the slip of paper into his back pocket without bothering to get his attention first, and then grabbed another handful of snacks before returning to Ben.

"Here," he said, tossing a small package of Oreos at Ben's face. "I got these for you."

Instead of sitting back down on his lap, this time Noah dragged a chair forward and sat on that. But he did stretch out and prop his feet up on Ben's knee.

As Noah wandered over to Blaine, Ben spent a few moments staring at Raf. He was his boyfriend, it wasn't creepy. He was snapped out of it as his friend waved the Oreos in his face though. With a smile, he took them from Noah's hand and opened them without complaint. "Thank you," he said, twisting the top biscuit off before licking at the cream for a moment.

Not minding that Noah's feet were on his lap, Ben took a moment to appreciate the low buzz of other people's conversations. After a while though, it started to get a little much and his mind was about to run away with him, and so he figured that he ought to stop it before it did. "What about you? Planning on joining the choir at USC?"

Noah laughed at the question. As if it weren't even remotely feasible. "Uh, no," he said, reaching out and snagging the now creamless cookie part of Ben's Oreo. He liked the outside better anyway. "Definitely not."

He was pretty positive that being on a choir team would only ever be cool at Dalton. Shit like that didn't fly in the real world. That was why he chose swimming. He paused and thought for a few seconds, chewing. Without bothering to swallow first, he added, "Might be cool to record something one day though. Like an EP I've songs I've written. You know, as opposed to Katy Perry covers."

	Ben handed the biscuit part over willingly. He didn't like it as much as the cream, which was good all things considered. He didn't ask Noah why he wasn't going to join the choir, mostly because he was in the same boat. "That'll be pretty cool," he commented, "We should do something quick before we leave. Arching an eyebrow, Ben aimed and tossed the other half of biscuit at Noah's head. "We've been recording music and stuff, perv."

At the mention of a duet, Ben nodded with a sincere smile. "I'd really like that," he admitted, shuffling his chair a little closer to the table. It would be a nice thing to have to reminisce on and such. "Plus that means you can listen to it when you miss me too much," he joked, reaching out and running his fingers playfully over Noah's curls. He knew that he would be the same though if they did record anything.

"Mm, and here I thought you were doing something more exciting when you said you'd been 'making music' with Benji."

Noah smirked and tipped his head forward, into Ben's touch. "I'd listen to it all the time," he said, probably only half-joking. "That way my future roommate can think I'm a total girl. He'll come back to the room and I'll be crying over a pint of ice cream and listening to our song."

"Is that going to fuel some weird fantasy in your head?" Ben asked, quickly looking over at Benji before his gaze returned to Noah. "Corrupting the good, young, Christian boy? Because that's wrong of you, Nono."

As Noah's head moved into his touch, Ben smiled and began to lightly pet his friend's hair. "Your roommate would think that was super manly, I'll bet," he commented, forcing a smile as he tried not to think about the fact that Noah would be sharing a room with someone else. It then occurred to him that he would also have a new roommate, which made his stomach squirm uncomfortably for a moment. Realising that he'd gone quiet, he looked back at Noah with a fake grin, "Whoever he is, he should be honoured to be sharing a room with the great Noah Braxton."
