Who: Gavin, Vince and Benji
What: Getting drunk, playing strip not!poker, a naked pillow fight, and the aftermath
When: April 2nd/3rd night/early morning (waaay backdated)
Where: Vince and Benji’s room at Vince's aunt's place
Rating: SFW, but with nudity and boners? (Think M for mature, instead of R or NC-17)
Notes: The ending is a bit abrupt, but I think it’s safe to say that one of the other boys yelled that it was time to start packing up the cars so they could leave to drive back or something.
Well, that all got out of hand rather quickly. Gavin had no idea where everyone else was at this point in the night, but at the moment he, Vince, and Benji were all in a bedroom with a few bottles of some sort of alcohol that Gavin didn’t know exactly what they were. Whatever it was, there wasn’t much left in the bottles, and that was probably rather obvious considering the three of them were about to sit down and play some sort of card game that involved stripping? Gavin wasn’t sure, he hadn’t heard Vince because he was too busy laughing/ trying to resist the massive urge to start making out with Benji.
Vince clumsily kicked his shoes off and peeled off his socks before grabbing the nearly full bottle of rum from his backpack and the two-liter of Cherry Coke with it, setting it in the middle of the three boys and plopping down. He picked up the cards and started to shuffle. “So, uh... we’ll play strip blackjack, okay?” He smiled tipsily, not planning to get completely naked but looking forward to the chance to ogle Benji - and maybe Gavin too. Wait, what? He forgot the thought as quickly as he had it. “Wait, I don’t think I even know how to play that.”
Benji raised an eyebrow when Vince pulled out more alcohol – but he didn’t comment on it. He just had to remind himself that he really shouldn’t drink much more or else things might get a little too messy. He nodded along as Vince spoke, but laughed at the confession, shaking his head a little, “Then why’d you suggest it?” He pecked a kiss to his boyfriend’s cheek before settling onto the bed properly, grinning over at Gavin before musing, “’ve never played strip anythiiing. How d’you lose?”
When Gavin watched Benji place a quick kiss on Vince’s cheek, Gavin grabbed some of the beverage that Vince had just whipped out, drinking it down pretty darn fast considering this was Gavin’s second time drinking. However, he knew that alcohol numbed the little voice in the back of his head—which indeed was little—that spoke only of jealousy when he saw the two other boys together. Except… As his mind got fuzzier he started to forget which one he was jealous of and which one he had a crush on. Whatever, that made this easier if he didn’t care. “You lose when you’re naked.” Gavin laughed.
Vince bit his lip. “How ‘bout we make a game up? Um. How about we try to guess the suit, and if we’re wrong we take something off and choose someone to take a drink, but if we’re right, we take a drink and choose someone else to take something off?” Vince blushed and giggled, pouring a drink of his own. He took a sip and cringed from the strength. He liked his game idea, though - it got them all wasted and naked really quickly.
“I know that,” Benji responded, flushing a little at the idea of ending up naked in front of either of them, “I meant how d’you know if you need ta take somethin’ off...” Biting his lip, he considered Vince’s suggestion before nodding – that made sense to him. Or, he thought it did, anyway. Which was the same thing. “Okay.” That was a game of complete chance, too, so it was fair – right? No one was really at any advantage over the others. Except it also seemed like a game that would result in really quickly losing their clothes... But maybe it wouldn’t. He poured himself a drink of his own, adding a little more coke when a sip proved it to be a little too strong. “Who’s’tarting?”
Vince’s plan for the game sounded good enough to him, and before Benji finished asking who would go first Gavin was already lunging for the deck of cards. “I will!” In the back of his mind he knew he didn’t think stripping in front of his crush and his crushes boyfriend was a good idea, but the front of his mind was more concerned at which suit to guess. “Diamonds!” Gavin shouted, flipping over the top card in the deck. Four of Clubs. With a frown, Gavin pulled his shirt off over his head, forgetting that he could’ve started with like… his shoe or something. “Benji, drink.”
It would be a lie if Benji said that he wasn’t surprised when Gavin took his shirt off – it seemed like a rushed start for a guy who was usually so shy and reserved. At the order, Benji obliged, taking a drink from his cup before turning his attention to Vince.
Grinning, Vince took the deck next and closed his eyes as though he were trying to use some sort of psychic ability. “Uh... Clubs?” He flipped the card - Ace of Diamonds. “Damnit... Uh, Benji, drink!” He giggled and took his own shirt off, trying not to stare at Gavin too much - he couldn’t help it, really. He was drunk and Gavin was attractive. It’s not like anything was going to happen, right?
Rolling his eyes playfully, Benji took another drink. At this rate, he was going to get drunker than he probably should – but it was Spring Break, he was allowed to indulge a little. Well. Actually, that wasn’t really true, but in his already inebriated mind, it made sense – and what his doctors didn’t know wouldn’t hurt them. “Hearts,” he guessed, reaching for the deck and flipping a card over to reveal the King of Spades. “We’re bad at this,” he commented, giggling a little as he pulled off his socks – he didn’t care if it was lame, he was starting slow. “Drink up, Gavvy.”
Gavin may have watched Vince a little too closely as the boy removed his own shirt. Wow. He was surprised that underneath it all, Vince was pretty well built—considering all he really knew about the boy was that Vince was a compulsive gamer, which doesn’t lend itself to being as fit as Vince was. Shaking himself out of his staring, Gavin took a large gulp from his cup before taking the deck of cards. “Uh… Spades!” No one had guessed spades, so that made it more likely to be right, right? No? Whatever, Gavin didn’t care at this point. He flipped over the top card and—“Six of spades!” He took another long drink and grinned at Vince. “Take it off, Vince!”
Had he been sober, Vince would likely have taken a second to curse his lack of footwear. However, luckily, he was drunk enough that he didn’t really care and that odd little twinkle in Gavin’s eye was incredibly persuasive. Standing up - and stumbling a bit - he undid his belt and threw it aside before undoing his jeans, pulling them down and falling in the process of trying to get his leg out of the garment. Finally, on the floor, he managed to get them off, leaving behind the pajama pants he always layered underneath. He flashed a grin and scooted over, reaching for the deck. “I’m gonna say... uh... Hearts!” Flip. “Three of Hearts.” He grinned again as he took his drink - more of a gulp, really - and pointed at Gavin. “Off.”
Gavin glanced down, trying to figure out what to take off next. Well, he couldn’t follow Vince’s pants example because his shoes would end up in the way. I guess that meant something small next. The shoes themselves would have to go. With a grunt, Gavin pulled of his left shoe, then his right, tossing them off somewhere in a way that would leave him searching for them for like ten minutes the next morning. “Your turn Benjiiiii.” Gavin sang, giving Benji a playful shove.
As Vince stumble around, Benji couldn’t help but laugh; he probably should have been concerned for his boyfriend’s safety or something, but he was too drunk to find it anything more than funny. He watched Gavin toss his shoes away, registering the action but knowing that he wouldn’t remember the specifics of it come the morning. Reaching for the deck again, Benji stifled another laugh before predicting, “Please be clubs.” Of course, it wasn’t – three of Diamonds – and so Benji wasted no time pulling his shirt off and tossing it aside. “Better take ‘nother drink, Vince.”
Vince ogled Benji contently as he took his shirt off. Mmm, mine. Oh, right, drink! He took another gulp of his drink; as strong as it was, he was drunk enough that he was drinking it like water.
Oh yes, Gavin liked this game. His alcohol-addled mind could barely decide which boy to spend more time looking at now that both Benji and Vince were sitting in front of him—both being very shirtless and very attractive. It was a good thing he still had is pants on; otherwise certain things would be very obvious to the other two boys in the room. Finally, Gavin realized it was his turn again, and pried his eyes away from the two guys in front of him in favor of the deck of cards. What hadn’t he guessed yet? “Hearts?” He closed his eyes and flipped over the card… Alas, Jack of Diamonds. As Gavin bent over to remove his socks, he said “Drink for you Benji.”
Benji didn't really notice that Gavin was a bit delayed in taking his turn - to be honest, he was just as distracted by Vince. He almost felt guilty for hogging such an attractive boy to himself when he couldn't appreciate it the way so many others would... Anyway. Shaking his head, he looked over at Gavin when he heard his name, taking a moment to process what had just happened. "Oh!" Flushing slightly, Benji raised his cup to his lips and took another drink. Was it just him, or were the edges of, well, everything getting fuzzy?
Vince noticed that Benji seemed a bit out of it. After he took his drink Vince leaned over clumsily and kissed Benji. He missed his mouth a bit and ended up kissing his cheek, but he was fine with that. He plopped back over and put his hand on the deck. “Hearts!” He flipped it over, nearly knocking over part of the deck. Six of Hearts. He immediately took his drink, almost splashing it on himself, and pointed at Gavin with a grin. He was bitter about the footwear. “Off!”
Benji laughed a little when Vince missed and reciprocated with a quick kiss of his own before his boyfriend could pull away again. It was hard to let him go - Benji just wanted to keep kissing him - but that would be really unfair to Gavin, so he did his best to behave.
Gavin blushed instantly when Vince demanded he take his next article of clothing off—meaning his pants. That would reveal his… er… growing problem. Even really drunk, he wanted to keep that much of his body private. So he did the only thing he could do. He spun around before he stood up so that it was hidden as best as it could be, and he hastily unbuttoned his khakis and dropped them to the floor, sitting back down before he spun back towards his friends. Crisis averted? Sitting would hide it, right? Even if he was only in underwear now. “Er… Go Benji.” He muttered bashfully.
Benji couldn't fault Gavin for being shy about it - even he wasn't totally sure about all of this, but at least one of the people he was, inevitably, going to end up stripping for was his boyfriend. Gavin didn't have that comfort there to take away from the embarrassment. Nodding, he reached for the deck, drawing a card. "Spaaaaades," he chimed, throwing his arms up in victory when he turned it over and found that he'd finally guessed something right, "Yessss!" Taking a drink, he grinned a little before leaning in to nip at Vince's earlobe, "Take s'mthin' off, babe."
Vince chuckled as his boyfriend leaned in, gasping quietly as Benji nipped at his ear. Damn, he sounded sexy when he was drunk. “Anythin’ for you, babe.” He stood up, holding on to Benji for balance, and started slipping his pajama pants down. He’d forgotten he was wearing essentially the tightest pair of underwear he owned, bright green boxer briefs. It had shrunk in the wash as he was doing laundry for the trip. It didn’t help that Benji’s attention had turned him on a little, but he was really too drunk to care. He fell down on his knees and sat on his feet. “‘sit my turn ‘gain yet?”
“Nope.” Gavin scolded, taking the deck for himself. Okay, he had to get this one right. So there was… A spade? Right, someone had flipped at least one spade. Was there more than one heart down? Or… Clubs? Any clubs? Oh, screw it. “Diamonds.” Gavin tried again, echoing his first attempt from the beginning of the game. Hopefully it would be. He flipped the card slowly, just the corner so he saw the number and not the suit. Red nine. One in two chance of it being—“Nine of Diamonds!” Gavin shouted, laughing victoriously. Now came the hard part, choosing what to do. Benji did have the most on… But… “Vince, you lose. Take ‘em off.” Gavin demanded, taking another long drink from his cup.
Whether Vince was blushing more because of the alcohol or the realization that he was about to be naked, he wasn’t sure. The slight embarrassment didn’t faze him, though, and he promptly stood back up and turn around. Looking back at Gavin and Benji while sticking his tongue out and pulled the underwear down enough that they could see his butt before he turned around and revealed the goods. He fell over again as he tried getting the underwear off of his feet. Giggling and sitting back on his feet, he looked around and looked down. Oh, right. “S’yeah, ’m uncut.” He bit his lip again - he hadn’t actually told Benji yet. It had never come up, really. “D’you guys keep playin’ ‘til you’re both naked too ‘r what?” Part of him wanted to just pull Benji’s clothes off, but that would be rude.
Benji's eyebrows shot up at Gavin's request - not that he'd been looking forward to it, but he'd been expecting Gavin to pick him to strip. That wasn't the case, though, and now his boyfriend was going to be naked and Benji wasn't actually sure if he was ready for that. He felt his cheeks burning as he nervously turned his attention to Vince, biting down on his bottom lip as the older teen stripped without any apparent reservation - and with good reason, he supposed. Not that he was looking too intently or anything. He was honestly a little grateful when Vince got tripped up, glad to have some amusement breaking through his nervousness. Averting his gaze, he blushed even harder and shrugged slightly, "S'okay. W'sn' gunna be, cause s'against my church but my mom 'sisted." Pondering the question, Benji took a drink from his cup before replying, "Think there s'only one winner?"
With that, Benji reached for the deck again - assuming Vince's turn would be skipped. "Clubs," was the guess he went with, completely unsure of what had and hadn't been turned up at this point. Jack of Hearts. Oh.The blush that had almost faded rose in his cheeks again when he realized it was time for his pants to come off - but he wasn't going to back out. Passing his drink to Gavin for a moment, he got up, shuffling out of his jeans as carefully as he could - which, of course, still consisted of a lot of stumbling, - revealing a pair of plaid boxers when he finally completed the task. He tripped a bit as he made his way back to the bed, and reached out, grabbing onto Vince to steady himself - not entirely registering that oh, well, he was clinging to his very naked boyfriend right then, wasn't he? Settling back in - closer to Vince than he'd originally been sitting - he took his drink back. "Guess tha' means'you drink, Gav?"
Gavin downed the rest of his cup—this would be the last draw anyways. It was so hard for him to focus now, with Vince being so… naked, and Benji being so beautifully unclothed himself. Well, this would be the deciding factor, who else joined Vince in nudity and who remained in undergarments, winning the game. Gavin did not really want to be naked, but he also didn’t want Benji and Vince to be naked together… Though he couldn’t remember why anymore. So reluctantly, he made his final guess. “Hearts…” He flipped the top card and sighed. “Ten of spades.” But… wait. Something felt wrong. Gavin had drawn two cards. “And the Ace of hearts.” So… what did that mean? “We both strip?”
Benji was literally about to rejoice on the fact that he would be able to keep his boxers on when he realized that Gavin had mistakenly drawn two cards. The rather muddy, buried logical part of his brain was screaming re-do but in his drunken stupor he just nodded, giving Gavin a curious look, “I-I guess so.”
Gavin blushed to his ears, visible even though his face was already flushed from the alcohol. Moment of truth, Gavin was about to be naked in front of his crush who knew that he liked him and his crushes boyfriend who he barely knew at all. He stood, knowing there was no point in hiding his arousal now—once he was nude it would be pretty darn obvious. Closing his eyes and sighing, he slipped his thumbs under the waistband of his navy briefs and pulled them down to his ankles, kicking them off clumsily and leaving him totally exposed. “Your turn.” He muttered, staring down at his own body self-consciously.
Benji looked down as Gavin stripped, completely unsure of how to behave right now. Gavin liked him, so making himself this vulnerable couldn’t be easy on him, and Vince was right there, and this whole situation was a little messed up, wasn’t it? When he did look up, though, he couldn’t help but notice the other sophomore’s arousal. He looked away quickly, blushing as he got up and slipped out of his own underwear, nervously sitting back down next to Vince. With a quiet cough, he asked, “What now?”
Vince bit his lip when Gavin Junior popped out, not expecting the... hardness. Vince twitched as his lower regions bounced a little, slightly at attention but not significantly. It wasn’t until he watched Benji lose his underwear and got his first glance at his boyfriend’s... equipment that he decided to sit with his knees up against his body, hiding his goods. “Didn’ think this far.” He took another drink.
Now that the embarrassment was setting in, Gavin’s arousal was leaving fast. God, this was all just so awkward suddenly. Taking after Vince’s lead, Gavin sat down in a defensive position, ultimately covering himself up as well as possible. “Whaddo we do now?” Gavin asked to no one specific—he was too busy staring at the floor.
Put our clothes back on, Benji thought, biting his lip to keep from saying it; he was fairly certain it would defeat the purpose. Draining the rest of his glass, he kept his other hand in his lap, doing his best to cover himself. The alcohol coursing through his system made it difficult to remain so shyly reserved and nervous, though, and it wasn’t long before he was moving closer to Vince, nuzzling into his neck a little and kissing his skin. Their witness was only temporarily forgotten, though, and Benji flushed as he caught sight of Gavin in his peripheral vision. He sat up properly again – a little too quickly – and brought his hand up to his head. “Wh’t’ver we do, n’more drinks…”
His vision growing fuzzy as his boyfriend kissed him, he whimpered slightly as he stopped, bringing his cup to his mouth. He set it down quickly after Benji spoke, spilling a little on himself. “Yerright. Let’s... let’s... let’s...” Vince’s brows furrowed as he looked around for something to do, growing frustrated with the awkwardness. Being naked was supposed to be fun, wasn’t it? No, that’s right, he only did this to get Benji and Gavin naked. Gavin. He bit his lip, remembering what had happened earlier in the week and frowning - it was more confusing than anything else, everything that had gone on. He wasn’t upset that the other boy liked his boyfriend. He was upset that he wasn’t exactly sure what he was feeling towards Gavin. Oh right, doing stuff. He sighed dramatically and shrugged. “We could ‘ave a p’llow fight.”
Gavin’s gaze lifted off the floor, and though his face still was flushed as red as a lobster with really bad sunburn dipped in ketchup, his eyes had a distinct twinkle in them that betrayed his awkwardness. “Pillow fight?” He started to chuckle at the thought, a sure sign that the alcohol was really starting to take complete control again. Pillow fights were fun. And it would definitely be a good distraction from the fact that everyone in the room was naked. Okay, probably not, but it was worth a shot. Gavin was up in a flash, running towards the nearest bed to grab the two largest pillows off of it and launching one at Vince’s head and one at Benji’s. Yes. Good idea. Gavin was already cackling like a hyena on laughing gas.
At Vince's suggestion, Benji couldn't help but giggle - it was just really cute. He liked that, even drunk, his boyfriend had better tact that to suggest... other things. Like a lot of other people would have done, given their current situation. His cheeks heating up just at the thought, Benji was pleased to have a distraction as the pillow Gavin tossed hit him in the head. Grinning, he grabbed onto it and got up, only a little shyly. There was a brief moment of using the pillow to cover himself before he was smacking Vince with it. "Geddup!" he demanded, laughing as he smacked him again.
Vince yelped as he rocked backwards, though it was muffled by the pillow covering his face. “Hey!” He yelped again as Benji hit him repeatedly. “G’dammit...” He stumbled his way to a standing position, grabbing the pillow Gavin had hit him with and smacking Benji back across the side, laughing. “Truce! Les’ team up on Gav’n!” He grinned and ran at Gavin, hitting him forcefully across the chest with his pillow.
“No—ah!” Gavin shouted in vain as the other two boys came at him with their pillows. This was so unfair, but of course the couple would team up on Gavin. He grabbed another pair of pillows from the bed, clumsily trying to beat Vince and Benji off of him. “Gerroff!” The pillow someone shoved in his face muffled his jovial complaints. With a shove, he managed to get Vince off of him, so he went straight for Benji with both pillows, hitting him as much as he could.
Pleased with the truce, Benji focused his attention on Gavin, laughing as the other teen whined and tried to fight them off. Giving a yelp of his own, he swatted at Gavin again, taking a few steps back as the other sophomore gained on him. “Nooo,” he pleaded, but the sincerity of it was ruined by the fact that he couldn’t keep from giggling. Hitting at Gavin again, he glanced over at Vince, giving him the best puppy eyes he could manage at the time, “Hellllp.”
Laughing hysterically, he picked Gavin up by wrapping his arms around the boy’s chest and lifting. “Benji! Hit ‘im!” Okay, so this was only slightly awkward, right? It wasn’t like Gavin might have a crush on him... Even though he offered to kiss Vince several times. Okay, well, it wasn’t like Vince would like him back. Right? Fuck.
Gavin’s laughter soon joined Vince’s as he flailed about in the air trying to get free. “Lemme down!” He begged, squirming to no avail. Luckily, he was already too caught up in the fight to consider how awkward this all really had the potential to be. “N’fair, you guys are cheating!” He whined, still fighting Vince’s grip. Damn, the blonde was strong.
Benji was quick to jump at the opportunity, playfully attacking Gavin while Vince held him. It didn’t even cross his mind that – oh yeah, they were naked and Vince was pretty much manhandling Gavin right now. “’s’not cheating, s’strat’gizing.” Finally taking pity on his friend, Benji grinned and smack Vince in the face this time, blowing him a kiss as he ducked back to avoid retaliation. Or, attempted to duck back, anyway, but he ended up tripping.
Vince giggled as Gavin squirmed in his grasp, although it was a bit of a struggle keeping himself from getting aroused. It helped when Benji hit him in the face. “Domestic abuuuuuuse!” He whined, having lost his grip on Gavin and dropped him. He grabbed at another pillow, but he fell, whining more.
Gavin fell to the ground with a loud “Unph!” Ow. That actually hurt kinda bad. He stood up, wobbling slightly as he tried to regain his balance with the room spinning like it was. “Hol’ on!” He raised his hands in surrender, hoping they would lay off long enough to get his bearings—and long enough for him to get another pillow.
Scoffing a little, Benji shot Vince a skeptical look – he knew the other teen was completely joking though; Benji could never abuse anything. He steadied himself from his trip, grinning a little at Gavin’s plea. “Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine,” he obliged with an overly-dramatic sigh, choosing to focus on Vince instead. Except Vince had fallen down, and that required getting down to his level – a problem solved easily enough as Benji moved to straddle his boyfriend, hitting him lightly with the pillow.
“Hey! N-no, not ‘llowed!” Vince blushed as Benji sat on him, trying not to think about how hot it was that his naked boyfriend was on top of naked him. Grabbing at a pillow, he hit Benji frantically but had no leverage and no power. “Gavvy, help!” He was starting to get hard and he really didn’t want that - that could lead to bad things.
Grinning, Gavin picked his pillow back up, and with his balance regained rushed at Benji. Okay, so tacking the naked guy that you like isn’t the best of ideas, but Gavin didn’t remember that through the inebriation. He slammed pillow-first into Benji with all of his strength, successfully knocking him off of the blonde—who’s arousal was indeed starting to show. Gavin stared for a second before catching himself and proceeding to beat Benji with his pillow.
It wasn’t that Benji couldn’t feel the beginnings of Vince’s arousal – it was just that he was far too plastered to process what was happening. Really, the only thing he could think of was that he sort of wanted to start kissing Vince; he didn’t get the chance, though. Letting out a sound that was half-shriek, half-laugh, Benji lost his grip on his pillow and toppled off of Vince. Staring up at Gavin, he raised his hands in an effort to protect himself from the attack. “Mercy, m’rcy,” he begged, laughing a little as he tried to wrestle the pillow from Gavin’s grip.
With a grin, Vince jumped up, then fell, then slowly stood up. Do I help the one who attacked me, or the one who saved me? The answer was obvious. He grabbed a pillow and tackled Gavin to the ground, pounding him with it and completely forgetting about the erection that was plainly visible given that it was resting on the boy’s abs.
With all the strength he could muster (and all the attention he could pull away from the very… er… distracting body part pressed against his stomach) Gavin grabbed Vince’s pillow and threw it over the bed to the other side of the room, taking advantage of Vince’s shift in balance to wiggle free from underneath him and get back on his feet. He launched himself onto the bed to try to reach the pillow… But when he landed on the mattress it felt like he was being sucked into it, and he instantly felt dead tired. “mmdnguss.” He muttered into the sheets.
Forcing himself into a standing position, Benji managed to stay blissfully unaware of the fact that Vince was getting so turned on – not just by him, but by Gavin, as well. He grabbed onto the dresser, trying not to fall back down when everything went momentarily black. That couldn’t be a good sign – and when he finally managed to shake himself out of it, he caught sight of Gavin flopping down onto the bed. Which looked like a really good plan, actually, and he carefully made his way over to join him. “Mmmmmkay. C’n we sl’p now, th’n?”
After Gavin pushed him off, Vince laid on the ground on his belly, sprawled out exhaustedly. He managed to stand up again with some effort and looked from Benji to Gavin on the bed and back again, following his boyfriend to the bed. “Yeah, ‘m tired.” He was a bit apprehensive about sleeping with both of them at once - it was almost too perfect, given the thoughts he had been thinking lately. He climbed onto the bed. “W’nna cuddle, guys?” He grinned.
Gavin muttered something that sounded like a noise of agreement, but Gavin himself could barely understand what exactly it was he’d said—he was so tired. He slipped the covers down and rolled over so that he could pull them back up over himself, and he curled up on the far right side of the bed, waiting for the other two to join.
“Why’z that ev’n’a question?” Benji asked, blinking a little as he instinctively moved in closer to Gavin. Of course they were going to cuddle. Why wouldn’t they? It was obviously the best way to sleep, and he’d even cuddled Gavin before, so it wasn’t like it meant anything. He just wasn’t so sure about naked cuddling with Gavin, which was why he left space for Vince to lay down between them.
“Awesome!” It was all the more perfect for Vince that he got to be middle spoon. He was too tired and drunk to consider all of the implications of how happy this made him as he slipped in between the boys, facing Gavin and wrapping an arm around him as he leaned back against Benji’s chest. He didn’t realize he was still hard until he noticed he was poking Gavin in the leg, but he didn’t really care anymore - he was bound to poke someone with it, and for some reason his mind decided it was better Gavin than Benji.
Gavin was aware of Vince’s little (no offense) problem--very aware-- and yet he wasn’t too worried about it. After all, Gavin was the one here with the least to worry about. Nothing to lose and all that. Ignoring Vince’s issue, he pressed back into Vince’s chest, reveling in the older boy’s warmth. Within a few minutes, Gavin was asleep.
Benji cuddled up close to Vince immediately, slipping an arm around him and pressing a kiss to his boyfriend’s shoulder as he closed his eyes. “Night, g’yz,” he murmured, drifting off within a few minutes as exhaustion took over.
In this drunken heaven of boys, Vince contently laid on the bed. “Night.” As he drifted off to sleep, all he could think was about how desperately he wished he could fall asleep like this every night.
----
Even through the haze of sleep, his pounding headache and the worse-than-usual hangover, Benji could tell that something wasn’t right. It wasn’t that the body he was pressed against didn’t feel Vince-like – because it did. It felt a little too Vince-like, actually. Like there was literally nothing between them. Forcing his eyes open, he reached up to rub the sleep away as he sat up. Something just felt off, and he couldn’t place if it was just the hangover or something else. Perhaps a bit belatedly, the realization hit him – he was naked. Completely naked.
And he couldn’t remember anything.
His mind was already beginning to run away from him as he fixed his attention on Vince, who was still fast asleep and snuggled up to Gav— Wait. Benji felt his breath catch in his throat as he realized that not only was he naked and in bed with his (seemingly) equally naked boyfriend, but they weren’t alone. With the blankets still covering Gavin’s lower body, it was hard to tell what state of dress he was in – but Benji had this sick feeling in his stomach like it was the same as his. It didn’t take long for this flood of realization to mesh with his completely blanked out recollection of the previous evening and, within minutes of waking, he felt the familiar tightening in his chest. No. No, not now. Please not now. He couldn’t do this right now. There was too much else to process; too many details to try and remember. And this was bound to wake the others up – something Benji wasn’t so sure he was ready to do. There was a chance that they remembered more than he did, but he wasn’t prepared to deal with the fallout. He didn’t seem to have any say in that matter, though, because he was in no state to get dressed and flee the room. Couldn’t this at least hold off until he could get dressed? He’s seen me—what if we---? With a choked cry, Benji curled in on himself, arms wrapping around his knees as he tried to draw in a breath – could he do this without waking Vince and Gavin?
Vince was having the most peculiar dream. He was chasing Benji around an office building - was it an office building? - of endless corridors that all seemed to connect to one another. He lost him several times, but Gavin always turned up to point him in the right direction. After a while he couldn’t find him and forgot entirely what he was doing, and he found Gavin once again. “What am I doing? Am I... am I looking for something? Someone?” They shared an odd moment. Gavin opened his mouth hesitantly. “Are you looking for me?” Vince wasn’t sure.
He awoke with a violent twitch and noticed something was wrong immediately when he bumped a body on either side. All he could see was the back of someone’s head and it definitely wasn’t Benji and they definitely weren’t wearing any clothes. Suddenly extremely panicked he turned around, a relaxed sigh escaping when he found his boyfriend, also awake. “What...” He whispered the word, confused, and realized who was behind him - and suddenly everything was a lot more complicated.
Benji felt the movement more so than actually saw or heard Vince waking up. Apparently, no, he wasn't going to be able to do this while the others slept on. Which only served to upset him more - that was one of the worst parts, after all: the shame and embarrassment that came along with panicking in front of others. He knew, distantly, that he should try to respond to Vince, but his focus was entirely on the attack and his breathing. In, and out. In and out. In. Out. In. Out, in, out. In out inoutininininininininin-- Slow down, slow down, that's not right. Squeezing his eyes closed even tighter, he tried to block everything out but he was still too aware of his nakedness - was that how Adam felt after eating the forbidden fruit? Whimpering, he opened his eyes again only to find that he couldn't really see straight. "V-Vince?" he whimpered again, tears springing to his eyes as the panic set in further.
Gavin, on the other hand, had been resting peacefully until this point on the far right side of the bed, curled up under the sheets. It was likely, considering the drinking they all did the night before, that he would remain this way for a few hours yet until he was forced to wake up for the ride back home. However, this wasn’t the case. As soon as the warmth that he had been feeling on his back disappeared, he slowly faded into consciousness—realizing suddenly that he was sleeping in the wrong room. In the wrong bed.
Naked. Once that last part processed, he flailed wildly, falling off of the bed and taking most of the sheets down with him—leaving him for the most part covered, but uncovering what remained hidden of the two other boys on the bed. “This… Is not good.” Gavin said, mortified.
As soon as Vince realized that Benji was not okay, he forgot about Gavin entirely and turned to his boyfriend. What am I even supposed to do...? “Y-you okay, Benji?” His brow was furrowed with worry as he sat up. “Uh - we - I don’t s’pose anybody has any idea what happened last night?” The blonde was slightly panicked - less than the other two, though. On one hand, he was confused and worried and Benji - but on the other hand, part of him was incredibly curious and - excited? Vince was definitely not ever potentially going to cheat on Benji, but he couldn’t help feeling the slightest bit - okay, maybe more than slight - attracted to Gavin. He fit in perfectly with Vince and Benji, and sometimes he found himself even happier than usual when he was around both of them at the same time. I need to... I need to stop thinking about this. Vince continued sitting there with a pounding headache, incredibly confused.
“No, I haven’t the slightest—“ Gavin began, but his voice and jaw dropped slightly when he noticed that Benji was doing less than alright. This wasn’t good. This really wasn’t good. The boy’s breathing was visibly thrown off and his eyes were glossed over with barely-held-back tears. “Shit.” Great start, considering how rarely Gavin swore. “Benji. Benji, you have to breathe. Breathe.” Gavin began to coach to the best of his abilities, scrambling out of his blanket and quickly finding his boxers in a pile of clothes and pulling them on. Naked comfort was probably the last thing that Benji needed right now. Once he had them on though he rushed to the other side of the bed, sitting in front of him and holding on to Benji’s shoulders. “You can do this. It’s alright. It’s—“ Horrible. Confusing. Messed up. “—alright.” Seeing Benji’s panic just made Gavin’s own start to flutter. No, this was not the time for that. He pushed the feeling down as best he could and turned to Vince. “Do you know where his meds are?”
Benji barely processed his boyfriend’s questions – as it was, they sounded distant. Really distant, given that Vince was sitting next to him. Another voice joined Vince’s after a moment and, somewhere in the back of his mind, he realized that Gavin had woken up, too. He couldn’t tell much beyond that, though, not registering all the movement until the other sophomore was grabbing him – if he’d been more aware, he’d really have appreciated Gavin taking that moment to put his boxers back on. Breathing still unsteady, he looked up to meet Gavin’s gaze, but it was almost like he wasn’t really seeing him. As he processed what the other teen was saying, Benji shook his head in protest – it wasn’t alright. What had they done?? This was bad, this was really bad. He tried to form a response, to express something other than the sheer panic that he was feeling, but all he managed was a broken sob as the tears started to spill over.
Meds? “Wh-what meds? Meds for what?” His brow furrowed, wrought with confusion. Benji needs meds for something and didn’t tell me, but... Gavin knows... “I’ll... I’ll see if I can find them.” He looked at the two curiously before slowly slipping out of the bed, finding his underwear, and slipping them on. He began looking through Benji’s luggage. Why wouldn’t he tell - maybe... maybe he and Gavin would work bett-stop thinking, Vince. With a sigh, he pulled out the little kit holding Benji’s toothbrush and toothpaste and - there. Two pill bottles. Two? He opened it and pulled them out, looking at them as he brought them over to Gavin and Benji. He caught words like Xanax and anxiety and some confusingly long word like Anpradalam or Azprezapram, something long and... medical. “I, uh, I found them.”
It wasn’t like Benji hadn’t trusted Vince enough to tell him – he’d just assumed the older teen had known; he’d had a few attacks during his classes in freshman year and word had gotten around quickly. Apparently he hadn’t, though, so it looked like he’d have some explaining to do later. For now, the priority was to actually take his medications, which was a struggle in and of itself when he was in this state. He blinked, pausing for a second as the edges of everything darkened - do not faint, Benjamin. Don’t you dare. You’re not nine anymore.Eventually, Gavin seemed to take pity on him and helped him get the canisters opened and Benji gave him the best appreciative smile he could manage before he focused on sorting out the right dosage into his shaking hands. Technically, he wasn’t supposed to take them for another couple of hours, but the sooner they got into his system, the better. He swallowed them quickly, his breathing still somewhat erratic as he hid his face against Gavin’s shoulder.
Gavin flinched slightly at the contact, surprised to suddenly feel Benji’s face pressed into his bare shoulder. It was warm, and close, and Gavin couldn’t help the red blush that spread across his cheeks. He slowly raised his hands, placing one on Benji’s back and the other on the back of his hair, just… holding him. “You’ll be alright.” Gavin said quietly, maybe a little too close to Benji’s ear. “This… Whatever this is. We’ll figure it out and we’ll all be fine. It’s okay. I promise.” Gavin was glad he was able to keep himself together this time—maybe since he’d helped before it was easier to do it a second time. “Just breathe, Benji. You can do that. Calm, slow breathing. It’s alright. Nothing here is going to hurt you. You’re alright.” It was like, for as long as he was holding Benji, Vince wasn’t even in the room at all.
Vince looked on, hopelessly confused - well, more confused than he usually was. It was like he and Gavin had suddenly swapped. As though Gavin was the boyfriend, and Vince was the one with a hopeless crush. It really didn’t help that he was oddly jealous of Benji, being held by Gavin like that. Quietly, Vince backed out of the room until he was in the adjoining bathroom. He closed the door and locked it, turning around and leaning against it before slowly slipping down. The wooden grain of the door was both painful and soothing as it scraped along his back. He didn’t know what to think or do or say or - fuck, Gavin and Benji just looked so... right for each other, in that moment. Vince? He wasn’t right for anyone, was he? Just a weird freaky gamer.
Gavin’s steady, quiet voice was a big help in getting Benji to calm down. He’d go on to feel guilty when he realized that Vince had left, but, for now, he stayed as he was, shifting slightly so that it was just his forehead resting against the other boy’s shoulder now. Whimpering softly, he tried to focus just on what was being said and not what may or may not have happened the night before. He wanted to believe that everything was okay. He really, really did. “I’m sorry,” he finally whispered, his voice cracking slightly. He knew he couldn’t be the only one who was scared and confused, and this wasn’t fair to either Gavin or Vince. After another moment or two, he regained himself enough to reach for something – a pillow, as it turned out – to pull into his lap, covering himself with it. “I’m sorry,” Benji repeated, unable to stop trembling.
Gavin continued to hold onto Benji as the last few shivers of the attack started to fade away. “It’s okay, Benji. It happens.” Not to mention, Benji had helped Gavin on more than one occasion, so really there was absolutely nothing to be sorry for. Once he thought Benji was sufficiently calm, Gavin rose off of the bed and began to collect some of Benji’s clothes, bringing them over to him before—“Where’d Vince go?” It seemed in the moment they’d had, Gavin had completely lost track of the blonde… And considering the context of his leaving, that was not a good sign.
Taking his clothes from Gavin, Benji felt the deep blush that spread across his cheeks as he mumbled, “Thank you.” He looked around when the other boy continued, biting his lip as he realized that Vince had, in fact, left. Dammit. Stammering a little, he got up and pulled his boxers on. “I-I should, um, lo-” he started, and then paused when he caught sight of the now-closed bathroom door. He pulled his jeans on for good measure before walking over to it and knocking lightly, “…Vince?”
Vince jumped slightly as he heard the knock. “B-Benji? I - um - I’m fine, just... freshening up... Are y-you okay?” He was a little loud in his nervousness. He stood up awkwardly, using the door for leverage. “I’ll, uh, be out in a second, p-promise.” It wasn’t like he could hide in the bathroom forever, really. He’ll be fine. Gavin can take care of him. He paused for a second before staring in the mirror. Jesus, he’s my boyfriend. I need to stop thinking Gavin’s gonna swoop in and carry him - or me - away. He paused again as he realized what he had just thought. Or me. Deep breath. Fuck.
Benji couldn’t tell if Vince’s – quite obvious – nervousness was a result of the entire situation or about how he’d just been clinging to Gavin, but he hoped it was the former. “I will be,” he responded, still a little more quietly than normal conversation called for, and forced a smile even though Vince wasn’t there to see it. He took a step back when Vince promised to come out in a moment, biting his lip as he shot Gavin a helpless look.
Gavin, in the meantime, had set about pulling on the rest of his clothes. By the time Benji was turning back to him, he was fully dressed sitting on the bed, sitting in a very defensive position as if he were still nude and trying to cover himself up. He just wanted to hide. The look in Benji’s eyes though was begging for assistance, and unsure of what else to do, Gavin called out to Vince. “Vince… Vince, come out of there. We need to try to figure this out now that Benji is okay… Please?”
A bit dejectedly, Benji walked over to his duffle bag and grabbed a clean shirt, pulling it on before moving to sit with on the bed as well. Noting the other boy’s defensive body language, he kept a bit of distance between them.
With a sigh, Vince ran the water and splashed his face with it before finally coming out. “S-sorry, guys, I - uh, sorry.” He took a deep breath, noting that he was now the only one without most of his clothes on. He found his shirt soaked with alcohol and scoffed, walking over to his duffel bag and pulling out a shirt and jeans, both of which he quickly tugged on. Walking over to Benji, he looked at him carefully before walking up and lifting his head, kissing him. “So you’re, uh, definitely okay now?”
Letting out a breath he didn’t even realize he was holding, Benji smiled shyly over at his boyfriend when he returned to the room, “It’s okay.” Returning the kiss gently, Benji’s cheeks darkened again as they pulled apart. “Maybe. Uh, probably,” he answered, reaching up to brush his bangs away from his eyes, “I don’t usually have any aftershocks.” He was lucky, in that sense, he supposed.
