They'd been in bed for barely fifteen minutes when Benji realized that he wasn't going to get to sleep - not with the weird, unfamiliar warmth that seemed to have settled into the pit of his stomach. To call it unfamiliar is a bit of a stretch, though; he'd felt it a few other times recently, mostly in fleeting moments and always around Vince or when thinking about him. Determining from the sounds of the other boy's breathing that he was still awake, Benji rolled over to face Vince and reached out, gently cupping his boyfriend's cheek for barely a second before leaning in and kissing him. He knew that Vince had been right there with him all along, but in that moment, it just wasn't enough. Benji wanted - no, needed - him closer; a feeling that was new and confusing - but also a little exciting - and Benji didn't understand, but he acted on it anyway. The kiss was needy - passionate in a way that their starting kisses never were - and he gave a soft whine, pressing closer when the older teen responded.

Benji felt his cheeks flush at the question, but he nodded, his smile shy as he pulled back to meet his boyfriend's gaze. "I'm fine," he confirmed, his blush deepening; he knew the action had been out of the ordinary for him, but he hadn't really expected Vince to mind. Letting his hand slide down from Vince's cheek to his chest, Benji's fingers trailed almost absentmindedly over the other boy's warm skin. "I just, I, um..." he tried, but words were failing him; he didn't have the slightest clue how to explain what he was feeling. So he did the only thing that felt right; closing the space between them again, Benji caught his boyfriend's lips in another kiss. It was softer this time - more contained - but there was still something different about it.

Vince stared at Benji, heart and eyes overflowing with love. When had his life become this perfect? When had the universe decided that it was time for Vince to find romance in not only one place, but two, and at the same time? It was like he couldn't even try to fuck it all up anymore, because it always seemed to work out. With a shrug, he decided not to care if Benji was getting friskier than usual. It wasn't as though he minded, it could just... get a little awkward, was all. Vince extended a hand to stroke Benji's cheek as they kissed again, then moving the hand to cup the one that had slid down his chest. A moment later, he wrapped the arm around Benji and turned onto his back, pulling his boyfriend on top of his. As their lips separated from the motion, he whispered quietly and sweet, "I love you." He'd said it before, but this time he knew without a shadow of a soubt that he really meant it, no longer scared that Benji wouldn't say it back - because whether he did or not, they had each other - and Gavin - and they weren't letting go no matter what.

Benji couldn't quite contain his soft laughter as Vince pulled him on top of him, but it was silenced quickly as their lips met again - even though it was only for a moment. A smile lit up his features at Vince's words and he pressed a kiss to the older boy's forehead before responding, softly, but confidently, "I love you, too." Shifting around, Benji straddled his boyfriend's hips, his hand returning to Vince's chest. A fleeting sort of... Feeling? Sensation? Passed through him then, as he looked down at Vince; he couldn't quite place it, but it wasn't a bad sort of unfamiliar. His other hand supporting himself against the mattress, Benji leaned in, catching the other teen's lips in another kiss as the hand on his chest slowly slid down to rest at his hip.

Vince twitched in confusion for a moment as he registered what Benji said, the realization dawning on his face like a puppy who just realized he was getting fed. "Y-you - really? You do? L-love me?" He blushed deep, eagerly returning the kiss and placing a hand at the back of Benji's neck. Smiling brightly against his boyfriend's lips, his tongue probed excitedly for entrance, not even bothering to wait for permission as it slipped through, the tip dancing along the tip of Benji's own tongue. Vince slipped a leg in between Benji's, simply because he loved the feeling of tangled limbs and forgetting whose leg was whose. Sometimes, it made him feel like they were no longer two people kissing, but rather one person existing as a whole. That's really gay, he thought as he giggled into Benji's mouth.

His blush deepening, Benji nodded, ducking his head a little to hide the blush. "I really do," he promised, "I love you." He eagerly responded to the deeper kiss, letting his tongue meet his boyfriend's and shifting to get a better position as Vince readjusted beneath him. His cheeks flushed a deep red as he felt himself twitch at the way the other boy accidentally pressed against him and he tried to focus more on the kiss. He'd gotten aroused a few times before, but it was something that they both pointedly ignored since he still had no desire to be touched. Hadn't had? He wasn't entirely sure - it wasn't generally something that happened so easily; it tended to be more from accidentally having too much contact or something, but this... They were really only just kissing. Did that have any significance?
