If it bothered Leonard that Cas didn't actually look at him when he greeted him it certainly didn't show. Leonard may have been used to Cas' particular brand of weirdness but the two of them hadn't really spent much time together in person. A majority of their interactions took place online in the form of emails sent back and forth. Which meant this entire outing could end up being very, very awkward. Unlike Cas, Leonard had ditched the more bothersome pieces of his uniform back in his dorm room. The Dalton blazer was replaced by a comfortable grey hoodie, his tie was missing, and the top two buttons of his shirt were open. "I like your beret." It may have been slightly feminine but it seemed to match the rest of the uniform.
"Choke? I'm not going to choke. I've been doing the solid food things since I was six months old, Cas. I think I can handle it." He said proudly, holding his head high as he attempted to actually strut alongside Cas. The strutting didn't last very long and, within moments, he was back at his friend's side walking at something of a normal pace. "How far is this place from the school? Joel could always give us a lift. He lives for driving his younger brothers and their friends around." Or he lived for driving Leonard around since it was no big secret around the D'Amico household of just which twin the eldest boy preferred.
