Lincoln sighed, relaxing in his chair. He assumed people would just wander in one by one. He'd never done anything like this. Then again, it wasn't every day that a faculty member and a student are both in the hospital, and at risk of never coming out...

He pushed that thought out of his head and looked around the room, hoping it looked welcoming enough for this. He hadn't exactly set anything up. He hoped the couch and few chairs were enough. Then again, he wasn't even sure if anyone would show up at all. They were high school students, why would they come if no one made them?

Benji had been rather unsure about coming to this; he wanted to, but he wasn't sure it would really help any. In the end, though, he decided that there was no harm in at least giving it a try, and at about ten-to he asked to Mr. Miller if he could be excused from class and then made his way to the guidance office. He had no idea who else was planning to attend - Evan, hopefully; Blake, probably; maybe Skylar. To be honest, he wasn't actually too sure about who Del had gotten close to this time around. He hovered outside the door for a few minutes, not really wanting to be the first person there but finally gave up on waiting and made his way inside, offering a weak, "Hi," to Mr. Hemmingway.

	"Hi." Lincoln smiled at the boy, but felt a little awkward about him being the only one there so far. "We'll just wait for a few more people before getting started." He motioned towards the couch for him to take a seat. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Evan's hands played with the strap of his bag almost nervously, something almost completely alien to a confident, perky boy like him. He knew that this would help though. He needed to do it for when the time that Del's condition actually hit him. He was aware of what happened, but the situation still hadn't really sunk in yet. It would be good to speak with other people like him.

Pausing outside the door for a moment, he took a breath before walking in. Spotting Benji, he made his way over and sat next to him, eyes to the floor. "Hey," he offered quietly, his tongue anxiously swiping his bottom lip as he removed his bag and set it on the floor.

	"Hi." Lincoln looked out the door, and assumed no one else was on their way. Two people had said they might show up on the journals, but he knew teenage boys. Saying they might show up didn't mean they were going to. "Um, we can get started now, I suppose. People might wander in late." He saw that Evan recognized Benji and said "I take it you two know each other?" (Reply to this) (Parent)

Connie paused outside the door, but found she literally could not make herself go in. Couldn't take those last steps. She should, she knew... The kids needed the adults around them to help them with this. She was trying not to let her feelings affect her too much at work, to maintain a positive attitude, and she knew it would be very hard in this kind of setting. She backed away from the door, and started back down the corridor. She just couldn't do this, today.
