Tak ninja-ed his way into Johnson hall. It was a lot easier than he thought it'd be once he wasn't surging full of energy. He was dressed in his workout clothes, not having gone to the track for his hour long run before classes. He frowned looking for Phil's room number, a single pack of oreo cookies and a folded piece of paper in hand.

Finding the other boy's door he pulled a roll of tape from his jacket pocket. He'd just throw it away, no sense in leaving evidence behind. Carefully undoing several long pieces he bit them to reduce the sound and duct taped the 'card' and cookies to his friend's door. With a half smile he turned and as quietly, and quickly as possible left the hall to go for his run. He didn't know what was going on with Phil. But he figured something nice would brighten anyways day.

Above the taped package of cookies Tak had written a message in black messy sharpie.

"If your cookie has gone and crumbled, it's cool. I got you two more. :)"

Briar had actually been practicing his violin when the power went out. He had been playing a sort of gypsy-ish fast thing that made him really think about his fingers. And yet when the power went out, that went all out the window. Sighing, he set his violin on the empty bed that was meant for his roommate and opened his nightstand drawer. A flashlight was there, for emergencies. With it, he used a lighter to light several candles he already had placed around the room. There. Better.
