GLEE CLUB REGIONALS 2011

Hello everyone!

So here's how regionals is going to go down. After Kurt talks to Blaine about the Warblers being "The Blaine and Pimps Show" Blaine decides that this is not okay. And so he does something rash. He does something unheard of.

He makes changes to their performances.

It goes down like this now:

The group's first song is Misery by Maroon 5. But rather than Blaine singing all of it, he splits it up so that Noah Braxton gets the first verse (after the "oh oh" bit), Colby Matthews gets the second verse, and Deandre Clark gets the third. The rest of the Warblers all join in to sing the chorus.

The second song is still Candles by Hey Monday, but since we aren't following the Klaine relationship in here, the song was originally supposed to be between Benjamin Montague and Blaine. Thanks to ~~that bastard~~ Noah and Blaine's unwillingness to be Rachel Berry, Blaine gives up his half of the solo to Raphael Nelson. Ben and Raf will of course stare lovingly into each others eyes.

The third song is Raise Your Glass by Dalton's collective spirit animal and is performed as seen on the show.

And while the Warblers are being superawesomecool, they're all dressed in the same thing... this.

With Raf as his roommate, Gavin didn't have the option of playing things down as much as Evan had to support Ron. Gavin was like a walking Dalton billboard-- He lacked an extravagant sign, but his face and hair were both generously coated with Dalton's school colors, which he had done with help of Raf, obviously. It was remarkably out of character for Gavin, but hadn't he vowed to try being less rigid? Here was his first test.

Gavin turned his heavily painted head towards Evan after the Aural Intensity performance, grimacing at their song choice. "The panel is the newsguy, a nun, and a tea partier. They knew ahead of time and thought it would give them an edge." Gavin didn't know this for sure, but it wasn't too hard to figure out.

	"Isn't that some form of cheating?" Evan replied, his usual smile replaced with a frown as he pushed himself up out of his seat for a moment to look over at the judges. 	"Unfortunately, I doubt we'd be able to prove it." Gavin sighed. It was pretty low of them to go and pick something just to give them an advantage over the others with song choice. Sitting back down in his seat, Evan turned as much as he could to peer at his friend. "That's stupid," he said with a huff. Not to mention how totally unfair it was. "They definitely don't need an edge, they've already got one," he continued confidently, having every belief that the Warblers were going to kick Aural Intensity and New Directions to the curb. "Especially with Raf and his duet."
