Kurt lasted approximately ten minutes after the lights went out trying to cuddle by himself in bed. He'd never actually missed having a roommate, but right now every creaking of the walls and scrape of the trees outside had him jumping underneath his comforter. He'd been stoked for a horror movie marathon, but with no power it hadn't happened. So he was cold, and alone, and yeah, that just wasn't going to work for him. Grabbing his phone, he sent a quick mass text to everyone in his Dalton contact list, calling for an emergency sleepover in the common room. Surely he wasn't the only one unwilling to suffer alone.

Wrapped up in an oversize sweatshirt Ohio State he'd stolen from his father and his comforter, his hair for once less than perfect, he made his way down to the common room and claimed one of the couches for his own. Now he just had to hope someone would show up.

Colby hurried upstairs as quickly as he could in the dark. Due to pure coincidence he happened to move faster when he was on the third floor, and if he stumbled on the stairs in his haste then no one was around to hear it. He was just eager to get upstairs. It had nothing to do with Noah possibly being there.

The reason Colby hurried down the stairs with his blanket, particularly when he came to the third floor, was because he just didn't want to keep Raf waiting. Noah had nothing to do with it. Absolutely nothing.

So when he came back to the common room and spotted Raf in an arm chair, it was because he just felt bad for making Raf wait so long. That was why he dumped the blanket on Raf and sat, immediately pulling the other boy into his lap and hugging him tightly.

Noah had nothing to do with it.

	Colby kissed Raf back, though he chose to kiss him on the lips instead. His arms wrapped around Raf's waist and his head ducked down once the kiss was finished to press against Raf's neck. Laughing, Raf let himself be pulled forward until he was pressed up against Colby's chest.

"You're right, that was far too long to be apart," he agreed, pressing the back of his hand to his forehead as he continued. "How I did weep and writhe around in agony! Never again!"

Wiping away a pretend tear, he sighed happily. "But you have returned to me. What more could a boy want?"

"You just won't be able to move around too much," Colby said, kissing Raf's forehead and sliding his hand into the boy's pants. Noah definitely wouldn't have let Colby do this. Not when their friends were around. And kissing, and even sharing a blanket? No way. Raf always did let Colby indulge though. Doing these sorts of things, at least, kept Colby from comparing the experience to one with Noah.

"Then we'll camp out here," Colby said, leading Raf up the stairs. He took a moment to readjust his blanket. Colby would rather not accidentally trip on a trailing part of it and fall down the stairs, breaking not only every bone in his body but Raf's laptop as well. Which simply could not happen. Colby would feel terrible.

He squeezed Raf's hand and started making his way upstairs, moving much too slowly for his liking but knowing they had to.

"I am not," Colby said. "I would never drop a laptop. I'll break my own leg before I let that happen."

He set along the way, taking it slow now that he had a bit more to carry. Besides, it gave him more time to hold Raf's hand. Once they made it up to the fourth floor, Colby unlocked his door and put the stuff down on his own bed. He decidedly ignored Noah's empty bed, his lips pressed together. He hated being in his room now.

"Should we have a movie playing while I jerk you off? Or should we start it once we're finished?" Colby asked.
