How could I miss Steve Jansen?

I guess I was too occupied with worshipping David, and Steve only registered as "that guy hovering somewhere in the background/next to David". But then the JapanSylvian blog featured his Wikipedia article, and after returning to the blog page several times just to stare at the included photo some more, I decided he needs his own daily_male entry.

I included the first pic to demonstrate the didn't-really-register effect mentioned above, and because I like the contrast.

Though the short hair didn't look bad on him, either.

I'm definitely around, but more on lj than here these days. Yes, I've given in and gotten an lj -- after all the trouble with the malware/spyware here, I don't feel comfortable on the site any more. I still check my friends page, but I'm still very wary of being on ij.

I've also discovered that there are MUCH better music-trading communities on lj, with tastes other than the latest trendy emo fad. I just feel more comfortable there, as it seems to be a haven for people who like music outside of what's popular online at the moment. But never fear, I'm still here.
