You know what he wants, and that Snape - at that point at least - is actively rejecting him and in consequence not helping himself at all. Gah. I even felt a bit sorry for Sirius, with his confusion and the implied Blackcest. James, however. Grrrr Don't like him, never have, despite JKR's plaintive 'but he get's better...!' I'd love to know what Snape was doing at the Muggle club. I'm imagining that he was there to drown out his fears for Regulus. And finally, you've hit one of my serious kinks there with the marking. (Now, of course, I want Remus to step in and put his own mark on Severus. :)
