♦First and foremost, all we ask is that you be respectful of the mods and other players. If anyone breaks this rule, then the mods will deal with it accordingly. ♦Absolutely no godmodding, which no means controlling another player's character. This includes a character's feelings, words, actions, etc. If you would like to do something with/to a particular character, then ask the player for permission first. Talking to each other via e-mail or instant messages about plot ideas is a good way to potentially avoid these kinds of situations. ♦Absolutely no metagaming. If you know OOC information that your character shouldn't, then try to refrain from implying that they know about it. Mistakes do happen, so if it happens players will only be reminded of the rule at first. If it happens repeatedly, then players will be given a warning. ♦Keep OOC drama separate from IC interactions. If that isn't possible, then simply try to avoid IC interactions altogether. If that still doesn't resolve anything, then the mods will take the issue into their own hands. ♦Anything containing scenes of graphic sex, violence, or an overabundance of profane language must be under a cut and friends only. While NC-17 rated material isn't necessarily frowned upon, not everyone is so tolerant of it. If for any reason it does get out of hand and the community gets any complaints, the mods will talk to any involved parties. ♦The limit for the amount of characters per mun is three. If you feel you can handle more than that, then your activity will be considered before granting you permission. ♦You must wait at least two weeks before applying for any additional characters. The reason for this is so that we may first have time to monitor the amount of activity of initial characters. ♦Activity checks will take place on or near the first of every month. A post will be made in the OOC community. All you have to do is comment with your character(s). This will also provide an opportunity for game feedback, plot ideas (for the game and personal use), and constructive criticism. No flaming will be tolerated. ♦We all have lives apart from the internet. If you have to go on a hiatus, then all you need to do is make a post about it in the OOC community. There is no need for an explanation, however it is appreciated if you can tell us how long you will be inactive. Also, there is a hiatus tag in the OOC community, so please use it. ♦The main community is for posting action logs or replying to event related mod posts only. When posting action logs, please use the following format: ♦The Mognet community is for posting open or private messages only. If the message is for the entire community, then please put "Open" in the subject line of your post. If your message is private, then please put "Private|Character's name" in the subject line. If the same message is being sent to multiple characters, then they should follow the first character's name and be separated by commas. If multiple messages are being sent in the same post, then just do your best to recreate the subject line for each message within the body of your post. ♦The OOC community is for posting character intros, drops, and hiatuses. You may also use it for plotting purposes. The mods will also be using it for activity checks, event information, memes, and other various announcements. ♦Please tag all of your posts appropriately. If you don't have a tag for your character, or you don't know how to tag, then don't hesitate to ask a mod. By doing so you will be saving the mods a lot of time, and it will help us with keep track of activity. |
