The battle is over. You can all still post in it, we ENCOURAGE you to post still. We WANT you to post in the battle and the Great Hall threads. If you aren't sure what to do then let us know and we'll help you out. If you're waiting on someone, just go ahead and post. As any good game, however, we much move along. You can post journals, new threads, all of those things now. Starting today, it's May 16 1998 in game. One day is one day again. When July hits, we're kicking ourselves to catch up. July 2008 will be July 1998 and our game will be running on schedule from that point onward. There will be a memorial thread posted soon that we'd also like many of you to participate in. Anyone could have come back to Hogwarts for it.

Along with all canon deaths, meaning Fred Weasley, Colin Creevey, and Vincent Crabbe (as well as many NPCs), we are also saying good bye to Morag MacDougal, Nira Katkar, Aloisia Solberg, Reggie Summers, and Balthazar Bole. Harry Potter is assumed dead by everyone. We picked up these characters knowing we would be killing them at this point. We wanted there to be characters in game with played connections to add more to the feeling of loss with the battle. Believe us, we do miss them :( If anyone wants a connection to these characters beyond what's been established for future characters, let us know and something can be worked out. The journals will still be friended to the mod journal and joined to the community at until all threads they are in are finished. The journals will still be there as a record of those characters. In happier news, we'll be picking up two new characters to help fill that void! They'll be Terry Boot and Andrew Kirke, so watch out for their profiles and introductions going up soon. We will be bringing in other new characters as time goes by and as needs arise with the meta plot. We'll also be picking up Kingsley Shacklebolt and Minerva McGonagall not as full blown characters, but as regular NPCs for plot purpose.

We know this is a busy time and some of you have told us there might be some inactivity, so everyone remember it's better to let us know before hand rather than leave us guessing and worrying. That includes us, from now on let the mods know and post an OCC post so that other players don't get frustrated.
