Critiquing Suggestions
Want to critique RPGs but not quite sure what areas to hit on?

Critiquing Suggestions

1. First Impression. Easy to identify what type of RPG it is at first glance? What kind of mood/setting does it seem to have and does it fit with the RPG's mood? Does it catch the right audience? What's the hook? Does it work? What about the RPG's tone? Do the graphics fit in with that?

2. Distraction. Is there anything distracting from the RPG's purpose? Extra pictures/text (like quotes) that don't fit in or add to mood/inform the viewer of something? Do the visuals add to the function and information or are they only decoration?

3. Links. Are the links working? Arranged so they're balanced and the user can follow a path to what they want to find? Is there navigation on every page? Consistent and including all the links or an easy path to get to them?

4. Spelling/Grammar. Are there any errors that really stand out?

5. Tables. All aligned to the center, under 750px, justified, has cellpadding/cellspacing if needed?

6. Navigating. Is it easy to find information like how long holds last, what kind of characters the RPG is looking for, etc.?

7. Pages. Information divided up well and easy to navigate? Is the information on the page uniform? Are all the pages together uniform (it's easy to know it's the same RPG)? Not cluttered? Elements on the page balanced?

8. Interest. Do the pages hold some form of interest in the form of pictures and interesting text effects - like colors? Have something that ties them all together (like a color scheme)?

9. Readability. Are the fonts easy to read with the areas of size, font, and color given? Is the font too big or too small?

10. Contact. Is it easy to locate the moderator's contact information (like an e-mail address)?

11. Layout. Fits, includes links, colors and fonts work?

12. Colors. Too bright/dull? Do they work well together? Fit the game?

13. Ad. Catchy? Attention grabbing? Elements balanced? In a table? Fits the RPG/sends the right first impression?

14. Cuts. Used to make the mod journal easier to navigate?

15. F-locked. Friending button and contact list f-locked?

16. Graphics. Clear? Not too big or too small?

Any and all additions welcome!

Also, PSSST. Make sure to check the rules as there have been some changes.
