Reality Crisis OOC

Hey all, this is Dyan with my new toon, the lovely Lara Raith of Dresden Files fame. Lara is a vampire of the White Court, which means she feeds off human emotion and life force rather than blood. Since she's a Raith, that emotion is lust.

First thing to note is that Lara is gorgeous. Not just magazine-cover gorgeous - the type of gorgeous that makes cover girls cry and retire. She can add an effort of will to turn that into pure lust. And yes, ladies and gents, both genders can be affected. Once she's started to feed off someone (which requires physical contact), she can start to warp their will to hers, establishing as much or as little dominance as she wants.

Now, I know some of you other vampire types and superpowered types will be immune to Lara's particular charms. If you are, just leave a comment here and we'll work it out.

ALSO! If your character is in love, truly in love and loved in return, and has been with their significant other in the Biblical sense... as long as that was the last person they were with, that love will protect them from Lara's power. The lust will still affect them, but Lara will not be able to feed on them without getting burned.

If you fall in that category, again, please reply and I'll know how to react with Lara. This can lead to some fun things!

And finally, if anyone WANTS to become Lara's new sex toy, LET ME KNOW! She does treat her kine quite well, and does take care not to kill any... unless necessary.

A storm knocked out power at the friends' house I'm staying at taking the entire neighborhood. MY house, on the other hand, has power, internet, tv, and a partridge in a pear tree. Except for AC. So my choices are:

1) Stay at home with all the entertainment I could want, but slowly bake my brains.
or
2) Be in a still cooler house without entertainment except for what my phone can provide, and hope the power company can beat the time they gave us of 6pm for when they get the power fixed.

Meanwhile, I can still get email, tag, etc. on my phone, just setting up anything is a pain in the ass. So...distractions are VERY welcome since this week is a bad week for me anyway for personal reasons, but add to that all the crap that's come down at me since Friday...let's just say it's probably a good thing I don't own a gun. But I do have some pretty knives and swords..hmmmm

Hey kids.

Matt here with my second: Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man. He's not movieverse, but I did go ahead and use Andrew Garfield because... he's Andrew Garfield.

He's comicverse, and before any other spidey fanboys/girls (do you even still exist besides me?) freak out, yes I did change up his origin story just a tad to make it more 'modernized'. It's still the same basic idea though, so don't fret.

Anyway, I'm totally up for plotting!!! And threads and play!

Oh, and now that The Doctor has finished up his intro threads, he's PURELY and COMPLETELY open. As you can tell with his previous open thread. Please, ANNNNNNNNNNNYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYONE I woud LOVE to play him with anyone. And what's more, please, please, please plot with Spidey. I never can seem to get any play out of him in panfandom games because no one cares, but he's really not that bad of a hero! I promise. He's really actually kind of adorable and fun--maybe. I don't know.

In truth though, I just want some play time.
