Christmas tree
Just back from the kids. We were going to put up their tree but it's fubar. pluged it in and nothing. Ditched it. They came over to get my tree so they could get it up before DIL has to go back to work. Darrell took one look at my 9' tall 64" across tree and just said, "No way. No room. Sorry."
They'd already carried the top two sections up the stairs from the basement so Jack carried the last section up and it's in the living room. Yay!!!
I usually have to wrestle it up the stairs myself. I sadly realized that my back just isn't up to it anymore, so I was going to give them that tree and I bought a smaller one I could handle.
Jack asked why I didn't put the tree in my back closet instead of dragging it up and down the basement stairs. I said, "You said all Christmass stuff has to be in the basement." And he said, "That was stupid of me, put it in the closet." So, in the closet it will go.
The kids will get the smaller tree I just ordered. So everyone is happy. Yay! again.
