Corsets!
Well, in order to try and get things going on this community, I'll post some pictures of the corsets I've made that I have pictures of.
Some of them aren't the best, but it's better than nothing! :P
My first corset, made about 2 or 3 years ago. Single layer, purple corduroy, 1/4" spring steel bones, busk, two piece grommets. From the Simplicity Pattern 9769.
I made it a bit big, so it laces all the way closed.
My second corset. Crushed panne velvet flat-lined to duck cotton. Spring and spiral steel bones (both 1/4" and 1/2"). Closed front, two-piece grommets. Modified from Simplicity pattern 5006.
Crooked because I laced it myself.
My third corset. Made from the same pattern as the first, but altered to be smaller. Single layer duck cotton with purple lace ribbon sewed onto the boning channels. 1/4" spring and spiral steel. Lace up both front and back (no pic of the back). Sold on Ebay.
First client corset. Three layers. Brocade, duck cotton, liner cotton. 13" heavy duty busk, 1/2" and 1/4" spring and spiral steel. No pictures of my client, and sadly this is the only one I have of the finished product.
Second client. She liked the green one so much she asked for one just like it in purple. Same basic construction, but with a liner layer. Pattern drafted from 5006 to fit her measurements better.
A prototype of my reversible corset. Made with two layers of denim, double 1/4" spring steel on each seam. Custom drafted to my measurements. Pink side:

Corset I made for my dad's wedding. Lilac satin, flat-lined to duck cotton, with a pretty cotton lining. Heavy duty busk, 1/4" spring steel bones.
The pretty lining!
Well, those are all the pictures I have now. A few more creations, pictures coming soon. And some more projects in the making!
