WHO Michael Corner & Lisa Turpin
WHAT Mike invited Lisa over for something sweet.
WHERE Corner's house.
WHEN Friday, August the 29th, 1997.
RATING TBD

Michael slid on the kitchen floor as he made his way to the refridgerator. Opening it he threw out contents enough to make a good sandwhich. His stomach grumbled in an vicious response. Over top of his ears were a pair of headphones and in his pocket was a discman, one of the newest ones. Him and Kevin had gone down to a muggle city and bought a bunch of things. Michael decided to get himself a discman and a bunch of frisbee's, or well CD's as they were called. They played music and it was only heard by him. He liked it a lot.

So swaying slightly he started to do a form of a dance while his eyes were closed. It would've looked actually rather amusing to anyone who would see it. But by the time the song was over he became interested in the sandwhich again. He had a little while before Lisa was supposed to drop by so he thought he'd waste his time by eating. It was a favourite past-time, and a lot of his friends could vouch for that. How Michael kept his figure it was actually rather impossible to explain. He ate more than ten fully grown men. At times it was just plain frightening and disturbing. Others it was fascinating.

Shoving half of the sandwhich into his mouth (which in itself was not an easy battle, Michael enjoyed his sandwhiches fat) and chewing on it a slight bit he saw his golden retriever Atticus come through the door. His golden tail was wagging and his head kept on going back from Michael to outside the kitchen. Michael placing his sandwhich on the kitchen island for a moment took of his headphones and went out of the kitchen for a mere moment.

When he returned his sandwhich was gone. Atticus, like Michael had a hefty appetite. Giving a large groan he looked down at the adorable dog, who was now licking his nuzzle like any satisfied dog would. Moving around the golden beast he heard a few raps at the door. "Comin' Li," he said as he slid across the front hallway, and opened the door. "Come on in," he said with a smile. "You know you don't need to knock right?"

Lisa walked in a few paces and turned around to face Michael. "Of course I do, but that's just how courteous I am," she said with a sweetly feigned smile as she wasted no time in entering the kitchen. Right away she began peeking in and out of cupboards and rifling through drawers and eventually, not having found anything out of the ordinary, turned to rummage through the refrigerator.

After a minute or so and still unsatisfied she closed the door, she placed a hand on her hip and stared suspiciously at Michael with an arched brow. "Nothing out of the ordinary in here. So are you going to tell me what this amazing thing is?"

She drummed her fingers on the island counter waiting for a response. "Oh screw it, I need a biscuit," she said as she reached into the cupboard and grabbed much more than one. Lisa sighed as she took a bite. "Sorry, but my sister and mum are on this health crap diet. I've been dying inside ever since."

Michael rolled his eyes and lolled his head forward at her claim of courteousness. She was only that way when it perfectly suited her, otherwise she had a mind that rivaled the wickedness of Michael. At times he felt it surpassed him, but he'd never admit that. Unless it was a very special occassion, and they never really came about too often. Well for such a compliment as that. For even though Michael was quite possibly the biggest flirt in Hogwarts, he knew and kept the biggest compliments under his sleeves for the very most special moments. He fancied that confession a very lage compliment, so he greedily kept it very close to him. He'd have spell-o-taped it if he could.

"Did you bring your suit?" he asked assuming she'd be sporting a one piece. "I told you only the very best of sweets can be provided in the pool and hottub, besides Kevin is too white... It hurts my eyes when he jumps in to the pool... If he manages to get outside at all," he said with a small chuckle.

Raising a perfectly shaped brow at her confession he shook his head. "No you can't eat a buscuit. When you come to the Corner household you are forced to eat a Michael-sandwhich. But hmm, we won't be able to go swimming for thirty minutes... oh bother who pays attention to that anyways?" he said as he slid across the floor to the refridgerator. "You honey mustard, or spicey mustard?" he asked. "They produce two different types of sandwhiches, weigh the possible outcomes before you come to a hasty decision."

Lisa looked straight at Michael with what would've been a completely emotionless face if it weren't for her obvious unamusement. "I hate swimming, so I'm not exactly loaded with swimsuits." She bit at her bottom lip unconsciously and shifted on her feet. "So I had to borrow one from my sister...," Lisa trailed off quietly, looking thoroughly embarrassed at that fact.

It happened to be the only one-piece swimsuit that her sister had, so she didn't have many other options. She would've been quite satisfied with a plain black one-piece, but no, since it belonged to her sister it was bright pink and as tacky as the 80's. That wasn't the worst part, though. Not by far. No, the cherry on top happened to be a tasteless adornment of the phrase "too hot to handle" on the very front, complete with little flames shooting from the words. Naturally, Lisa was mortified. But she was hoping she could just sneak into the pool before anyone had the chance to see what was written on it.

"Honey," Lisa replied as she paused to grapple for an excuse, any excuse, to put off swimming. Then it struck her. "Thirty minutes? I'm fine with that. In fact, why don't we have a 5 course meal while we're at it. It should only take, oh, about 5 hours until we can swim," she asked hopefully, though somehow suspecting Michael wouldn't go along with that.
