WHO : Demelza Robins and OPEN.
WHAT : Sisterly sorrows.
WHERE : Hallways and Corridors.
WHEN : Afternoon.
STATUS : Thread/Incomplete.
RATING : TBA (though we all know Demz's language).

"I'll be fine, Demz. Really, I will. Don't you trust me?"

Why Marie Robins always had to ask that question of her older sister was beyond Demelza's comprehension.

"Of course, I trust you, Maire. It's them I gotta bone ter pick."

"Some of them are no different than us. They're just Slytherins. I'll be fine."

The young blonde's generally calm demeanor never faltered. She had always been the level-headed one of the family, the quiet one. And some times, Demz felt the need to protect her even more than her other sister, Rory, who despite being frail seemed to be able to defend herself quite well when need be. Marie was just so young, so small, so trusting.... or so it seemed.

She sighed. "All right, but if any o' them pouch sniffers come atcha wiff anythin' funny, you tell me, 'n I'll sock 'em one right quick, yeah?"

There was a smile and nod. "'Course, sis."

It was quite the surprise, particularly for Demelza, when Marie was sorted into Slytherin. She was only eleven. What could she know about cunning or any of that rubbish that Slytherins were known for? With a sigh, Demz nodded in return, which meant her sister could go off and do whatever it was she was about to do before Demz caught up with her in the hallway.

"Just be careful, Marie," she said and watched her little sister walk away. Why had it been so easy to let go of her Rory? Why was it so difficult to watch Marie slip away?
