Severus Snape, the New Hogwarts Headmaster! written by: emma woodhouse
After the frightening death of Albus Dumbledore, a beloved Headmaster and colourful man. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has been left without a suitable Headmaster. Many thought that the Head of Gryffindor; Minerva McGonagall. Would've taken the large spot, but instead the new appointed Headmaster is that of Severus Snape. The former Potions, and Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.
Snape's resume is impressive, and this year is bound to be very interesting. For while death is fairly tragic, it always brings about new traditions, and Headmaster Snape seems to be fit with making already ample roster changes.
Not to the students though (who in previous owls this summer have been told they all must attend this year) it is to the professors. Namely so would be the brother and sister team of the Carrows. They've taken the position of the Defense Against the Dark Arts chair and Muggle Studies professor.
"Dumbledore [R.I.P.] was a strong man, but he was getting far too old. Snape seems to have all the ideas correct, and has been a trusted name in the whole of the Wizarding community," said by Katherine Morland a ministry employee. So it also appears that the Ministry is backing the Headmaster. Something that can not necessarily be said for the whole of Dumbledore's carreer. Especially towards the end of his long and outstanding life.
Read pg A3 for more on this story.
MUGGLEBORN WIZARDS AND WITCHES STILL NEEDING TO BE QUESTIONED written by: william darcy
