[08 Feb 2010|07:25pm] ryi Hey folks. I had Ryder here almost two years ago but faded away and wound up dropping him but I'm hoping to restore faith in him. I missed this place so I wanted to try resurrecting him. Right now Scribbld is being a pain in my ass so his credits are down until then but once they're back up and running I'll let you know. Anyway, this is Ryder Illidge (played by Jensen Ackles), the cousin of nathani and an actor. He's twenty-eight years old and he's been acting since he was about seventeen starting out with She's All That. With Scribbld temporarily down, I can give you his main roles. Okay, it's back up and the credits are located here! They are Scarecrow in Batman Begins/The Dark Knight, Christopher McCandleless in Into the Wild, Sergeant First Class William James in The Hurt Locker and he's going to be Leonard "Bones" McCoy in Star Trek along with being Hades in the Percy Jackson film. He has quite a few roles under his belt including a three episode stint on Supernatural and hosting SNL twice (though he hopes to return soon since he had a blast). He still lives with his parents and he doesn't care what people say about it. He loves to be at home and he's still house hunting around the area, hopefully going somewhere on the east coast or in the South, wherever he feels like it. He loves messing around with TMZ just to be funny but he is pretty private. He goes to talk about work and that's it since he has nothing else of interest to say. Ryder adorers his fans to pieces and he'll stop to sign autographs and take photos wherever he's at and he won't stop until he's signed everything. He is very close to Nathan and the two have a massive sports rivalry, which Ryder finds pretty amusing. Um, that's about all I can think of. Hopefully Scribbld will be up sometime soon so you can all see the rest of his credits. This is Austen Severtson, a twenty-nine-year-old who was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, and dropped out of college because she got preggers. Her two boys live with their father, she gets to visit, yada, yada! Basically, she's your typical Bostonian - loud, crude, able to hold her alcohol like a champ, and a very, very diehard fan of the Red Sox. She's confrontational, occasionally a little rude, and swears like a sailor, save when her kids are around (which is rarely, since she's not really the motherly type). Her credits are here, temporarily, and they're mostly pretty small-scale, so she'd really be best known for her extremely public and messy divorce, since Hollywood latches onto things like that. [08 Feb 2010|09:00pm] doiron February marks my sixth month in this community, which is a big deal for me. I pretty much blow at this kind of thing, but you all make this game worth staying active. I can't thank you enough for that, and since I'm not looking to die off now, I'm here to try and farm as many new lines as I can! Jac Doiron isn't the most exciting person in Hollywood, and he's one-hundred percent okay with that. 2010 marks his twentieth year in the business, but for the most part it's gone unnoticed because he first gained major recognition in 2001 for his role as Jess Mariano on the TV series Gilmore Girls. 2001 was also the year Jac first ventured into the world of film-making, portraying Frank Abagnale Jr. in Catch Me If You Can. In 2004 Jac appeared in the pilot for HBO's series Entourage, playing main character Vincent Chase. Due to the shows success it's still on-air today, with its seventh season currently taping. After filming Smokin' Aces in 2006 Jac put off all other opportunities to focus soley on Entourage, until it was announced in 2009 that he would be playing the role of Tony Stark in 2010's Iron Man. Now that I've got that part out of the way, time to drop a couple of names. For the most part Jac spends much of his time with maximus and feriggno, his two best friends and future co-stars (though Brady currently plays his older brother on TV). He and lennix are extremely close, with Jac recently working on a project with her and necole. He used to be close to tslang, but unfortunate circumstances have caused them to drift apart. In addition to all those wonderful people in his life, Jac is currently dating hbrandston. He and Hallie first met when she was a guest role on Entourage, though they didn't become a "thing" until about seven months ago. She's his number one in life and his best friend above all others, seeing as how he's willing to put everything on the line for a promising future together. I could use all types of lines. More friends, co-stars he interacts with, enemies (he's a great guy who gets along with almost everyone, so we'd have to think of something epic if this were the case), exs... She's determined and headstrong, doesn't take no for an answer. She's accused of riding the coat tails of her famous mother and brother, but she just laughs it off and continues on because she knows that she's worked hard to get where she's at. Her directory can fill you in on that. I'm working on her discography right now, but Anna Nalick really doesn't have that much music to chose from, regrettably. I'm looking for people that she could have opened for, her older brother, which will probably have to be an outside connection, since I'm sure not many people in the game have a country singing mother and a little sister. Someone who could be a mentor because while she likes to believe that she knows everything and that she's independent, let's face it, she's not been in LA long and has a lot to learn. She's 25 and is living on her own for the first time, which is a little overwhelming, especially in LA, so she definitely needs some friends to come over and watch ridiculously cheesy movies to keep her company while baking cookies and dancing around to Britney Spears. Yes, she's 25, but also living on her own for the first time, so Britney Spears dancing is mandatory. I'm trying to think if there's anything else. I'm apping this guy tonight and [provided I get accepted, of course] I'm on the lookout for some lines. Just a bit of background for you all, this is Joe Finlay. [played by Bret McKenzie from Flight of the Conchords] He's a 31 year old singer/songwriter performing under the pseudonym of SmashRobot. He's had some relative success but he hasn't quite hit the big time yet. He seems, currently, to be more well known for his tour antics rather than what he puts out but he's hoping that the release of his second album will change all of that. I've got a fairly detailed biography and credits up already as well as an interview, so that should give you a bit of an idea as to what he's like. To save you too much reading though, here he is in a nutshell: He's a 31 year old New Zealander but has moved around from there, to London, to New York with his theatre director mother since he was a teenager. He has since moved to LA, where he got his 'big break'. His best friend is jennife. They went to college together and the two of them have a daughter, who is nearly two, as a result of a one night stand. They tried to make a relationship work but in the end, they were better of just staying friends. One of the reasons for this, he thinks, is his difficulty with commitment. He has a tendency to get cold feet when it comes to relationships but regardless, he's a good dad and is very much involved in his daughter's and Jen's lives. He's currently single and bisexual, and despite occasionally being caught red-handed with other guys by the press, he doesn't really discuss it with them, as he doesn't think it's any of their concern. He's quite a nervous, awkward person around people he doesn't know and tends to use booze and any stimulants he can find to give him the courage to get onstage. Despite the awkwardness, once he gets talking he has quite a strange sense of humour that will endear him to some... and others might think he's just a bit of an oddball. Which is true, as he'll admit himself. He's also a good friend of dianah. They met through being on the same record label and can often be found bar hopping in LA. Anyway, I'm up for anything, storyline wise. Friends, enemies, old flames, future flames, drinking buddies. You name it, give me what you've got. Also, this is the first time I've ever done faux celeb so if you spot anything I'm missing, if you could let me know that'd be awesome. [08 Feb 2010|06:09pm] mckenas I figured I should do one of these for this guy! This is Bret McKenas, a 33 year old celebrity DJ/record producer -- played by JC Chasez. Originally from Syracuse, New York, he currently holes up in Miami when he's not on the road playing shows at random clubs or working on people's albums/songs. Bret is really an all around pretty nice guy. He's really laid back, and really loves what he does. He never really expected it to turn into such a thing that it has, but he doesn't take it for granted in the slightest. He's using the work and style of Benny Benassi as his credits, in case anyone has missed that. Bret is kind of shy and is content to sit back and observe everything until he feels comfortable. But once he's comfortable, it's hard to get him to shut up and he has a bit of a twisted sense of humor. It's always the quiet ones you have to watch out for, you know. He's pretty quick to forgive most things, and doesn't hold a lot against anyone -- but after repeated burns he'll hold a grudge for the rest of forever. He's not stupid by any means, and he likes to engage in conversations with anyone about anything. As for lines, I'm really open to anything! He's besties with zera who is also basically like his sister. He respects a whole lot of people around the community for both their work and the random interaction he's had with them so far. He's going to be producing astrd's upcoming solo album (I think, correct me if I'm wrong!) I'm always looking for more people for him to produce for, if not for a full album, even just a song! This is Tzeitel Cohen (last name might change if I can find some family...) who is a bit of a geeky princess thanks to her first noticeable role being Willow in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". She's currently doing her first work as a host for "Attack of the Show!" and just wrapped up working as Dr. Saunders on "Dollhouse" (*sniff*). Her credits are here and I'm still working away on her! What's set in stone is that she's from a Jewish family (who'd have guessed with her name, righ?) and grew up here in the States. She's a little boisterous and used to being 'one of the boys' despite her attempts to look a little more feminine. She went back to her natural brown hair color after years of being a red head for "Buffy" and then "the Guild" which she also writes. Almost 6 months...wow. [08 Feb 2010|01:24am] jpw I'm going to be an even later sheep. This is Jonathan, but everyone calls him Jon or Jonny. He's a good guy, or he tries to be, but his generally positive outlook/open-mindedness borders on being naïve and he manages to get himself into a lot of trouble that way. He's pretty friendly, but socially awkward and manages to put his foot in his mouth more times than should be humanly possible. It makes him horrible at confrontation, so he tries not to make too many enemies. Jon's easy to talk to. He keeps secrets and is very open-minded. He is a writer with the credits of Neil Gaiman. His screenplays are (and now begins the name dropping) Stardust, which he worked on with morisot and mwatts (when she joins), and Coraline, which he worked on with hbranston, jager, and morisot. Before Stardust, he toured with josetteb and they had a relationship before he was married to Ripley, who's no longer in the community (and I've all but given up finding someone to play his ex-wife, so she remains a NPC). He and Jo also dated again briefly following his divorce, but it ended messy, it's still messy, and they argue constantly, that is when they're not avoiding each other, but truth be told, Jon hates that they don't talk anymore. He is currently in a relationship with isabellam, which has forced him to reevaluate a lot of things, and it's really grounded him and made him wise up a bit. He adores her, as sickening as it is. aim: barocky obama if you wanna discuss storylines! [07 Feb 2010|05:58pm] rocky Hello all! I introduce you to Rocky Kraft, played by Eugene Hütz, a musician/actor with the musical credits of Modest Mouse; his filmography -- primarily composed of cameos in Wes Anderson films and a major role as Tommy Corn in I Heart Huckabees -- can be found here (it should be said right now that he shaves off the 'stache if his face is ever going to be on film). 35 years old and hailing from Bellingham, Washington, his musical career mirrors that of Modest Mouse's, spending most of it in obscurity until his band (named: Casagemas) produced "Float On" in 2004 which was the final straw that broke the indie camel's back and made its way onto Billboard's Top 40. All of the indie cred they had been building since 1993 was pretty much lost as soon as they "sold out" in 2001 when they signed to Epic records, popularizing independent music to the max and basically sowing the seeds of the hipster movement. Point this out to Rocky and he'll brush it off with a statement about how he hates plaid and Chuck Taylors. Following their rise to pseudo-fame in the early 2000s, Rocky was more known for his heavy substance abuse than his talent as a musician. Every month you could find a snippet of news revolving around a DUI, general trouble causing, eventually allegations of rape (which was total bullshit, though the fact that he was completely strung out on acid at the time didn't help his situation). Also during this time Casagemas was putting on what can only described as some of the worst shows ever. Any part of their live performances that could have been considered good or entertaining was completely stripped from the band when Rocky fell into the worst part of his addiction. A few slaps from his band mates and some jail time later, he was forced to quit in 2005. While he realizes this is for the betterment of himself and the band, he's still pissed about it and can't be around drugs at all because he has no will power whatsoever. Okay! As for personality, he's a nice enough guy. He's blunt, quiet, unforgiving, and now that he's not using anymore he's (or so he would say) incredibly boring, but that's just how Rocky sees himself. In reality he's a lot more open and accepting than he would want you to think and he has soft spots for social drinking, common love of Woody Guthrie, and the batting of eyelashes. Now that he's not spending 90% of his time under the influence of coke, meth, or LSD he's way more fun to talk to and hang out with, way more likely to go outside and on adventures instead of acting like a hermit stuck inside the bus, writing music (which he still does anyway, just a lot less than he did before). [07 Feb 2010|08:39pm] cabney hello everyone! this is caitlyn abney, a 24 year old britsh import who recently moved to the states for career opportunities. my problem is as such: i have her personality and history more or less ironed out, but i have no idea what i want to do with her career. musician? actress? writer? so this is my two ply storyline plea post: i'd love all sorts of general lines, but if anyone has a hankering for a co-worker or collaborator, that would definitely help me iron out the career aspect. caitlyn is on the spunky side, and is known to get in online feuds with the perez hilton-esque. she would like nothing more than to spend all of her time attending concerts and collecting weird art but figures she ought to buckle down occasionally so she can make enough money to keep herself rolling in poptarts (the breakfast of champions). she takes sort of a lighthearted approach toward life that she cultivated after spending much of her younger years getting in trouble in london. she loves her work - whatever it is - and is grateful for the lifestyle it enables her to lead, but she is by no means a super serious master of the craft type. she likes to go out and have a good time and have the occasional throw down when the situation calls for it. i'd love to get her some friends, people to get into scandals~ with, past relationships, maybe a cousin or two, and definitely some people that she's worked with. wink wink, nudge nudge. 3 comments|post comment

She sings and writes her own music, and can play the piano, guitar, sax, and flute. Her personality is pretty laid back and fun-loving; she smokes, drinks, and loves to dance. She doesn't like to yell or argue, but if there's something she's certain of, she's very stubborn and unwilling to back down. She's fascinated by people's idiosyncrasies; the only people she truly loathes are the ones who have no originality or appreciation for people, life, or art. Her attention span has a definite pattern; she becomes intensely interested in something and pours her heart and soul into it, and then one day at the drop of a hat, she discovers she is bored with it and moves on to the next thing. This does not exclude lovers, of which she has had many. She's very open-minded, so she has also had many one-night stands, flings, and other unconventional relations. Music is the only thing she has never grown bored of, though her pattern reveals itself when she is writing music; she will disappear for days (even weeks) at a time in a dark room with nothing but the music to keep her company, losing all track of time and the outside world. When she is focused, hours can go by without her noticing. So! I'd love some storylines, simple or complex - whatever tickles your fancy. I love to brainstorm, so if you're up for it, let's do it! Friends, enemies, frienemies, collaborators, exes, flings, dalliances, etc etc. Her sexuality tends to lean more on the side of heterosexual, but occassionally a special woman comes along that strikes her interest. She considers London her home, but she also has a place in NYC and a tiny house on the beach in Malibu. I've been horrible lately with the interaction, but I want to change that, and this girl would love that too. (Even if getting her to admit it would be like pulling teeth) Anyway, this is Natasha Vanderplast, affectionately (or maybe not so much on the affection) known as Tasha. She's a 26 year old former radio DJ turned singer herself. Shockingly, Tasha actually did go to college and she graduated at the University of Kansas. She didn't honestly care much for the actual school work, but she scraped by. But now she's the front woman of a band called Simplicity that sounds oddly like Paramore. Tasha? What can we say about her? She's her own brand of something, that's for sure. She's been in a very on-again/off-again relationship with harling for YEARS, and they've recently remarried. She's very frank, and sometimes I think she was shipped without an inner filter. She's very jealous and possessive, especially with other women around her man. Currently she's living in New York with Jack and working on getting out her third album. (Hopefully April/May-ish for anyone who really cares) She tries to come off that she doesn't care about anything, but deep down she really cares what people thinks about her music. Not so much about what people think about her personally. She couldn't give a flying biscuit. She enjoys a good argument, and loves to trash talk. She's the one that you'd find doing even the stupidest of dares, just because someone dared her to do it, the one you'd find out at a party drunk out of her mind and still trying to talk shit about someone three times her size, or even the crazy drunk girl stumbling out of clubs and into a taxi. In a nutshell, she's a bit crazy, bossy, and very bitchy. But with all the love I have for this community, please never take it personally. So, yes. Lines. Obviously she's married, but she holds tslang and lennix in high regards. (Let's be honest here, she'd totally make out with both of them ;]) She also finds lking (and nathani!!! OOPS) amusing, because she respects people with a mouth on them. She also still doesn't care much for chloeporter (apologies) just because she can't let anything go. I'm open for any other sort of lines -- the more random the better. I'm bad with AIM (which is my fault), but I'd love random threads or any other ideas you wish to throw at me. [07 Feb 2010|02:32pm] niv This is Niv (no last name yet, I'm leaving it open for if anyone wants him for a family line), hack writer extrodinare. He has the credits of Charlie Huston and essentially he writes noir/noiry scifiy stuff, including a series that has vampyres (y, not i; the explination is in the books)and zombies. For the most part, however, he hates his work and thinks of it as a bit of a joke. A mortgage, however, doesn't pay itself and none of his other attempts at more "srs" novels have taken off. He has written two screenplays from his books, but neither have been made (yet), and one that wasn't related (The Glass House) that he thought was shit before he even got halfway through. Despite his rather jaded 'tude towards his occupation, however, he isn't a very gloomy guy and around his children (grown, but I don't have any amounts, exact ages or sex in mind) he can be downright delightful. Mostly, I'm looking for his kid(s), possibly an ex-wife or partner and a few other people he can make cynical comments with. (I'm also open to other PB suggestions) 4 comments|post comment
