During the summer of 1998, Dark Specter's forces, under the leadership of the princess of evil, Astronema, invaded Earth. Angel Grove, the home of various teams of Power Rangers, was their main target. After a long, drawn-out battle of good versus evil, the former triumphed and defeated the invaders. This was not, however, without sacrifice. The Power Rangers' leader and mentor, Zordon, sacrificed himself in order to expel evil throughout the galaxy. In doing so, the energy wave that was expelled after the mentor's energy tube was shattered unknowingly opened up a rift in the space-time continuum. Now, people from all corners of the universe and time are arriving in the small Californian city of Angel Grove.

In the aftermath of the attacks, Angel Grove has been restored to it's former beauty. It is hard to tell that just last year, the city was in shambles. But, the serene setting of the city is about to be disrupted, as the rift opens and beings from all places and times begin to emerge...along with the remnants of dark forces that have been hiding out on the planet, Onyx. Namely, a villainess by the name of Scorpina...

angelgrove ; THREADING COMMUNITY

Main RP community. Fictional city in which the first five seasons of Power Rangers take place. Characters are unable to leave the city limits. If they try to leave, they will find themselves returned to the park area.

morphinggrid ; RANDOM / JOURNALING COMMUNITY

Used for various things, such as blurbs, announcements, and other such content that is not appropriate for threading community. Known to the characters in-game as "the board." Also used for posting journal-like entries in order to allow players to use their character journals for multiple games.

communicator ; COMMUNICATIONS COMMUNITY

For messages, e-mails, etcetera between characters.

thejuicebar ; OOC COMMUNITY

Posts friends-locked by default to prevent non-members from seeing AIM names and e-mail addresses. Members may join with their personal journals.

angelgrove is not a fast-paced game. This game moves at what most would consider a relatively "slow" speed compared to most games. This does not mean we are inactive or that our players no longer have interest in gaming. The majority of our players are busy individuals who like gaming, yet do not have the time to keep up with fast-paced games. If you are one of those people, then this game is for you!
