I've been distracted elsewhere, but here's an important update.

My custom archival comic book cupboard has arrived ages ago, actually, but I'm still in the process of counting them all.

At the moment, with TPBs counted as #1, I currently own 530 Batman comics.

I'm in the middle of splitting up that total to how many actual Batman comic titles that I actually own. IE: Going through each TPB, Annual, World's Finest, etc and countining each individual story as #1, to reveal the true total. For instance, initially I'll count The Batman Archives Volume 3 as one comic book; but through the second counting phase I'll dig deep into said volume and count each individual story because they stand alone as a separate comic book, so The Batman Archives Volume 3 might end up adding 13 comic book #s to the final total.

Then to the fun part: going through all the comics and counting how many The Joker comic titles that I own, using the same process as explained above. First counting all them as #1 title each, then going through each TPB, annual, and so on to count the individual Joker stories in said books to reveal the true total.

This asylum will only continue to be up, and the project (eventually) started if further interest is shown. It is a hobby and something fun to do, reviewing and analyzing Joker-centric comic books, but there's no point if there's no members =) The curse of IJ fandom asylums.

The two important polls still up in the prior post needs to be answered, please and thank you. They are up for debate, too.

Two important questions to be answered; it will help direct the outcome of this asylum once I finish re-cataloguing my collection.

What I mean by filtering reviews marked as adults-only, is that members who are above the age of eighteen, with their DOB displayed in their profile according to IJ's ToS, are supposed to be reading and discussing on that review entry. That is to say, these entries will be closed to members only: which requires logging in. This is one of the polls down below.

The second poll/question is regarding the type of reviews I should be making; only one or the other! I don't want to go back and forth between spoilerific reviews and spoiler-free harmless reviews. One format =D

There's reasoning behind each choice; I don't want to butcher/analyze each and every comic book for the sake of jacking up the word-count or trying to look smart. However, on the other hand I don't want to dumb down the comic books from getting off topic by nitpicking at the art/writing/etc.

Please be aware that although this asylum is open membership, there’s still some rules to lay down! :D

• Please make sure your age is displayed in your user-info if you wish to read and discuss through the adult entries: 18+ rule. Members will be asked via PM to display their age via their User-Info, but will be removed from this asylum if no action is taken. You may re-join if you set your date of birth to be displayed before you join again.

If you’re not over the age of 18, I’m not going to hold your hand and make sure you’re going to respect IJ's ToS (not to mention the law) by not looking past the posted warnings. • Flames and spam will not be tolerated. Spammers (junk/asylum advertising comments or omgz i haet ur pairing!shift3alfred!twelve! angry batfan shit) will be banned from the asylum without prior notice. If you disagree with somebody, take it elsewhere! As for my definition of disagreements? I mean when people go back and forth with whiney accusations and name-callings/macros/bullying, the thread not really going anywhere or having a purpose other than to serve as a personal soapbox for the parties involved.
