MURDER IN CORNWALL

On Tuesday evening, Dec 8th, the Ministry received a desperate call for help. The call lead Ministry officials to a burning home in Bodmin, Cornwall.
The inhabitants, Susan Bones, Ian Bones, and cousin to the family, Kenneth Towler, were found dead on arrival.
While Ministry officials have yet to release an official statement on the events of last night's act of murderous arson there has yet to be any news on the health or well being of Bones' 5 day old son, Wesley Bones.
The entire property has been under high security lockdown since the Ministry arrived late last night. And because the estate is 25 acres of land media has yet to be given access to the full damage of the property.
What is known, however, is that Susan Bones announced the birth of her son in a public journal entry on December 6th. Friends and family congratulated and celebrated the image and news. However, no one seems to know whether young Wesley survived the unfortunate event or not.
It has been publicly understood that the Bones' were an infamously targeted family for opposing You-Know-Who during the 1st and 2nd wizarding wars. It's well documented that Bones' grandparents, uncle, aunts, cousins, and mother were personally killed by He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and it's horrifying to think why the remaining bloodline would have been the target of such a brutal attack.
Majority of the Bones lineage have been readily dedicated to The Magical Law Enforcement dating back to the 1800's. The family has had multiple relatives seated as Heads of the Auror Department, Magical Law Enforcement, and even the Wizengamot.
Susan Bones was a Ministry Obliviator who specialized in interrogation with the auror department. Some have speculated that this could be the cause for such a brutal attack.

"I can't exactly tell you what sort of cases she worked on," neighbor, Enis Washington, said, "She was very private. Both of them were. I mean, I didn't even know she was pregnant until a month ago. That girl was full of secrets."
Despite the Wizarding World having been calm for quite some time many who knew the family worry this could be a sign of more violence to come.
"Surely this is revenge for something," said Thomas Less, former client of Ian Bones. "Their family has seen the worst of things during both wars. And well... it wouldn't surprise me if this was a message of some kind. It's just a shame that it happened so close to the holidays."
Kenneth Towler, maternal cousin to Susan Bones, and prominent defense attorney was present during the attack. One could potentially speculate that the attack had little to do with the Bones family at all and may very well be revenge for a legal dispute.
Again, it is unclear as to what initiated this attack.
Unfortunately Towler's mother, sister, and law firm were unavailable for comment.
Mr. Kenneth Towler, 27, was a high profile defense attorney. He is survived by mother Linda, and sister Samantha.
Miss. Susan Bones, 26, was a mother, Ministry Obliviator, and amongst the brave 1998 students who fought during the Battle of Hogwarts.
Mr. Ian Bones, 50, father to Susan, was a world renowned illustrator for L.C.A Comics. He's known for his work on comic books such as, 'Martin Miggs, the Mad Muggle', 'The Roan Inish Riddler', and 'The Secret Life of Agatha Mills - The Squib of Somerset'. He also authored and illustrated the ever popular children's books, 'Kneazle Sneezes', and 'Noodles for Nelly'.
They will be missed.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday December 11, 2005. 5pm. The family will be laid to rest at the Bones Family graveyard in Devonshire.
