He wouldn't guess that. Not even in a million of years. Toby figured that she'd feel absolutely offended if such thing happened. But it didn't. He was putting a lot of his focus on not reacting to her moves on his lap.
When he felt the heat of hers reaching his cheek, he didn't smile. He felt... weird. In a good way, but he did feel weird. He didn't avoid her eyes this time. He kept looking back at her, and he even mouthed a "thank you", but he wasn't even sure if he made a sound or not. When she looked elsewhere, his eyes followed hers.
He cleaned his throat after that, in order to avoid the possible awkwardness.
"Well--" He tried to begin a phrase, but really he couldn't finish it. First the move that made his throat extremely dry, and then she touched his hands. Toby held his breath as he watched her lips form his name. He wished he could say something to actually express how much he found that lovely, but instead he concentrated on not running away from there.
He was sure she had no idea of what she was doing, but... Dammit, it was close to being mean.
