Georgia tossed her legs over the arm of the chair, crossing them and leaning back on her her elbows against the other arm. "Your lap is properly comfortable," she said, seeing his face. While she wasn't sure if it would lighten the mood, she hoped it might. Hopefully he was in that good of spirits.
At the sight of his smile, Georgia visibly cheered. See! This was why it was so great to be back! Elizabeth was great, but she was no Toby, or Remus, nor was she Cora. She tugged gently on his ear lobe for a moment, just being silly.
"Are you feeling all right?" Georgia's face was instantly concerned. What was wrong! Why didn't he feel well? She wasn't very good with potions, but she might've had some muggle cure for stomach aches. The worry was written on her face, in the creases that would be wrinkles one day.
Georgia definitely did not have a crush on Bernard. They hadn't dated either. They had, though she would not admit it to Toby even under threat of death, kissed once or twice over the previous summer. But that was more out of need than anything. It was hard to go so long without a boyfriend or proper snog partner! "Wasn't bad?!" Georgia narrowed her gaze, looking mock hurt. Truth be told, his comment hurt her feelings a little, but she was an expert at making her feelings look comical. "Well I just loved coming to see you, shame it wasn't mutual." Georgia stuck her nose in the air for a moment, pretending still.
When he mentioned he would join her book club, her entire demeanor changed. She shifted in his lap, rolling to face him. She tucked her skirt beneath her, always careful to keep herself covered. "Wonderful! It wouldn't be the same without you! I am so very excited! Can you think of any books?"
