James nodded--he hadn't honestly expected Remus to say otherwise. He looked away again, out across the grounds, a faint frown appearing between his brows.
There was...a lot he wanted to say. Needed to say, to someone, anyone. But every time he tried to grab for the words, they slipped through his fingers.
"Nice night," he offered instead. "I sat with Georgie for most of the ride in. She's teaching me sign language."
