Who: Gaia Moore, OPEN What: Exploration Where: Around town; random cafe When: Late Morning, day after her arrival Warnings: None so far
Gaia was not having a very good day. She'd yet to figure a way out of this Colligo place, a fact that was very, very frustrating. Every problem had a solution, or so her Dad hammered into her head for as long as she could remember (usually with a small twinkle in his eye and a sarcastic tone as placed her in checkmate) but this place seemed more and more like that checkmate. Unmovable. Unsolvable. Trapped. She did not like the idea of being trapped. And she hated the idea of her Mom freaking out over where she was. Yes, Gaia was a Momma's Boy wrapped in the package of a pretty girl. She couldn't help it though, her Uncle's attempt on her Dad's life that nearly ended her Mom's when she was twelve was still so ingrained in Gaia's mind. She knew how easily she could have lost either parent that night and things like that made you appreciate them a whole lot more.
She kicked at a loose stone with her flat and made a face to herself. Stuck. Trapped. She'd tried to leave more than a few times but found herself stuck in a loop of seemingly endless roads and finding herself back in the library. She'd even taken on those stupid armed guards once or twice but that seemed to prove useless.
And worst of all she'd been wandering the streets for hours and had yet to come across a single Krispy Kreme donut shop. She was starting to think that maybe she was stuck in some sort of hell. Her stomach protested against her mind's desire to walk just a little further to try to find one though and she stopped at a small cafe and ordered herself the largest cup of coffee they had and some rather delicious looking chocolate pastry thing. She took her cup to the little counter with the fixings and proceeded to pour a more than generous amount of sugar into the cup before stirring it with a stick.
