Who: Samuel Cornick and Katherine Danvers What: Arriving, finding the apartments. When: Early evening Where: Building A (after he walks there from the library) Rating: TBD Status: In Progress
Being tossed out of a library by things that he couldn't dent had been a little odd. He hadn't ever run into anything he couldn't punch a hole through, that wasn't his father anyway. Granted he hadn't put up too much of a fight after learning that the things didn't flinch or dent. No need to uselessly waste energy, his or his wolf's, if it would serve no purpose. He'd settled on the stairs of the library for a while, checking out the PDA he'd been given. It wasn't long after posting on the boards with it that he caught sight of the message with his housing assignment. He was a little surprised, but also a little happy that he wasn't going to have to rough it out until finding the cash to find a place. Especially since if he was getting things right in his head, his bank card wouldn't work here. He'd already tried a few numbers, mostly Bran and Charles, and none had gone through.
Giving a soft sigh, Samuel rose from the steps and headed in a direction. A brief stop in a store to ask a quick direction told him he'd been headed in the right direction after all, so he continued on that way. When he had decided to go Lone Wolf, this wasn't exactly what he had in mind. Staying at Mercy's, in Adam's territory would still give him connections and interaction with those that were Pack. Still keep him in contact with his father and brother. But here, he didn't seem to be able to contact anyone and frustrated him a little bit. The trace scents around town he was picking weren't exactly doing anything for his agitation level either. Too many things, possibilities, and none of them familiar. A smaller part of him was a little excited. It was new, strange but new. Something that hadn't happened before, gave him want to explore this avenue and see where it lead. Not that he really had much choice in the whole matter.
Coming up to the building that housed his assigned apartment, Samuel leaned against a tree near the entrance. He'd go inside and check the place out in a moment. For now, he just wanted to watch anyone that passed by and get all this a little more solidly in his head. And outside, trees, open was better for that.
