WHO: The Gentlemen, Leonard H. "Bones" McCoy, Joanna McCoy (briefly), Seven of Nine, James T. Kirk, possibly a few others as the scene progresses
WHAT: The Gentlemen focus on their next victim.
WHEN: Middle of the night
WHERE: Room #302A, to start with; the clinic in later posts
RATING: TBD (possibly high due to violence and language)
STATUS: In Progress
WARNINGS: CHARACTER DEATH
NOTES: Unlike other scenes with the Gentlemen, this one is going to go a bit differently due to the pre-planned character death of a victim who was chosen at random. It will begin as any other scene, with twenty replies in total (the victim, the Gentlemen, and two others), and then the Gentlemen will be leaving the scene and the aftermath will be played out in this post as well. Again, this is due solely to the character death taking place in the scene and the necessity of wrapping it up properly before moving on.
Four attempts and yet the Gentlemen had yet to get so much as one heart. They had attempted to split up and had discovered they were far weaker apart than together. They decided not to do such a thing again, and instead took a few nights to choose their victim a bit more carefully. Eventually they located someone they believed was perfect. The victim did not have a roommate who would pose a threat, nor did they have any added abilities that would cause their henchmen unnecessary harm. Given the strange location they'd found themselves in, it was the best they could hope for and they planned their next attack when the moon was high in the evening sky and they were all but certain their target would be asleep.
Entering the room via the same means as before as the lack of sound made their approach impossible to notice, they made their way to the room that contained one Leonard H. McCoy. His bedroom door was ajar and the henchmen entered first to check for any sign of unwanted or unexpected guests. Spotting none, they waited for their Masters to beckon before making their way silently to the sleeping man's bed. Working as one, cohesive unit, the henchmen reached out and grasped the man's arms and legs and pinned him tightly to the bed.
Once he was secure, the Gentlemen wasted no time. With a scalpel drawn, one glided forward with a sinister, lipless smile as the other two hovered nearby and kept a constant vigil of anyone or anything amiss. Nothing would stop them this time, they vowed. Tonight, they would be victorious. Tonight, they would collect their first heart.
