Crowley was having a nice, restful Friday, not that most of his days over the last few thousand years hadn't been restful. Many of them had actually been too restful, like the fourteenth century. He had actually slept through most of it out of sheer boredom, only waking up a handful of times to check on the status of things, and once to take a leak. And to answer your question before you even ask it, yes. Demons can get bored, too.
Thankfully, his current restful day was actually pleasantly restful. He had plenty of sushi (which he didn't pay for), spent a couple of hours nice and drunk before he decided to sober up (he didn't pay for the alcohol either, and sobered up over a matter of seconds), and scared a couple of children (no need to pay for that). All in all, it was a good one.
After spending a while wandering through town the demon made his way towards the small duck pond nestled in one of the parks. Over his time there he had grown rather fond of the place, as it reminded him of the one he spent plenty of time by back in London. He took a seat on one of the benches, hands tucked into the pockets of his black suit jacket, and began to watch the ducks swimming around, minding their own business. A small smirk spread across his lips as he watched one of them suddenly sink under the water without coming back up as quickly as it should have.
In fact, after a moment it had yet to come up.
