Text Message to Mycroft Holmes.
There is a raccoon in my room. It appears to be tidying up. SH

[ a few seconds later ]
Tell me you haven't genetically modified forest animals to spy on me. SH

[sent after sherlock's last text]
I assure you, I had nothing to do with any of this.

[a few seconds later]
I hardly expect you to believe me, of course, but I really haven't the time to convince you currently as there appears to be a pair of chipmunks attempting to clean my office windows.

[immediately after]
And the teapot has now decided to engage me in conversation while pouring me a cup.

The teapot is pouring itself? SH

Yes. While babbling incessantly about the office décor, no less.

Well, your taste is abysmal. SH

It most certainly is not. I will thank you not to agree with the china, Sherlock.

If the china is correct, Mycroft, I would be a fool to disagree. SH

[ a few seconds later ]
Luckily, the raccoon seems incapable of speech. SH

[ immediately after ]
My wardrobe, on the other hand, is not. SH

The china is hardly correct.

[a few seconds later]
Yes, it does seem to be merely the inanimate objects capable of speaking thus far.

[a few seconds after that]
Oh? I can only imagine the interesting things that dreadful coat of yours has to say. Tell me, is its voice as dramatic as you choose to wear it?

Is, too. SH

[ immediately after ]
I'm not sure whether to be thankful or irritated. SH

[ a few seconds later ]
I do not buy my shirts two sizes too small. SH

[ immediately after ]
It would like me to stop trying to detach its collar every time I feel the need to make an impression. SH

[ a few seconds later ]
I don't do that. SH

No, it isn't.

[immediately after]
I would settle for a mixture of both. That seems the wisest course of action, currently.

[a few seconds later]
Now Sherlock. One should never ignore the advice of ones own clothing.

[a few seconds after that]
And yes, you most certainly do. I dare say even John would agree with me on that much.

Yes, it is. SH

[ a few seconds later ]
Apparently my buttons are on strikes and refuse to take the strain anymore. They detached themselves from the shirt, Mycroft. If they had arms, they would probably make tiny picket signs. SH

[ immediately after ]
At least I don't swing on umbrella around like it's a sword. SH

No, it isn't. And stop disagreeing with me merely for the sake of doing so. It's rather unbecoming.

[a few seconds later]
How very odd. It isn't every day one finds clothing that is more clever than even the great Sherlock Holmes.

[immediately after]
Oh, do shut up.

I'm not disagreeing with you just to disagree with you. If I was doing that, it would be over something more obviously correct than you not having bad taste.

[ immediately after ]
Because you do.

[ a few seconds later ]
And they're not more clever than me. Even if I'm going to have to borrow one of John's jumpers.

[ immediately after ]
Shut up in the last argument of a man who's run out of ideas, Mycroft. Tsk tsk, brother dear. You should know better.

[sent after sherlock's last]
I've hardly run out of ideas, Sherlock. I've simply better things to do than argue style with a man whose clothing has opted to go on strike rather than performing the very simple task for which they were designed.

That isn't a matter of style, and you know it. SH
