She stood there in the ring, looking across at her long time friend and sometimes foe. Her red hair shined in the bright lights as the crowd cheered for them both. Once again she had teamed up with Trish Stratus. They had both retired last year. Trish to have a family, and her to make music with her band.

But this was a special night. A night of reunions. A night of comebacks. And that she did. She didn't come back as Edge's slut. She came back as the Lita all the fans knew and loved. The Lita everyone was hoping to see. And it felt damn good to be back on that December night. She and Trish and just gotten Jillian Hall out of the ring. The crowd was in anticipation. Was she and Trish going to start fighting, or were they going to be on the same side all night? It could go either way with the two of them. Everyone knew the worked well together, both as friends or as enemies.

The two of them approached each other in the ring, and embraced. The crowd by now was popping huge. And she was happy and melancholy at the same time. She loved being in the ring with Trish. The two of them were practically best friends in real life, but yet she was sad that it was just for one night.

She had missed everyone, from Trish to Adam. Everyone she had worked with, and some she had not, was there that night. Old memories and old feelings had come back. Her past feuds, her past alliances, her past everything. She remembered the adrenaline rush she felt every time she used to step out on the platform. It was all back again.

She climbed out of the ring with Trish as the crowd chanted their names, happy to see the two of them not only back, but working together as a team. And this time, for one night only, it just felt right.
