the rum isn't gone!
being a good louisiana boy, i'm genetically inclined towards rum drinks. hell, i used to live in the middle of 10,000 acres of sugar cane fields. so when the place i buy supplies for my cafe started to sell canned coconut water, the very first thing i thought was RUM DRINK! the coconut juice is very mild, and the rose's is strong. i treat the rose's like vermouth in a dry martini - pour a spash in the glass, and ten pour it back in the bottle. then it's 1 part rum to 3 parts coconut water. add rocks. it's a bleary grey windy 40-something degree day here near seattle, but i have a bit of the tropics. i may have to go put on my hawiian wedding shirt.
