let slip
Who: Freya [info]piece_by_piece Anti / Cake [info]ofheart
What: going to go do a little dare
When: sometime after the bequest
Where: wing b room 13, finally
Warnings: TBA?

There was no rustling of dresses or the flutter of long long hair. The movement was completely silent, no trailing parts to hinder. She felt this as strange. However, she did see it as amusing that she was doing to go help a little creature become feminine. How she was going to do that, she was unsure of. But it would happen, after all, she always carried out what she wanted. Unfortunately, that thing -- Cake -- had been very vague with its whereabouts. 013? Well, she assumed there were two 013's in the entire building, and having already going to look at the one in wing A, then it must be in Wing B.

Freya had only been wandering for about ten minutes because she had never ventured down into this other wing, but she didn't get lost. She just didn't have any real direction in which she wanted to go. It was a strange thing, going out with no real purpose of involving Chii. But after that... journal entry, she didn't want to upset her anymore so perhaps this was best. But it was dangerous, Chii would get hurt, she needed to -- No, she didn't need to do anything.

At least, not right now.

And so arriving at Room 013, Freya raised a hand, knocking on the door and then stepping back and waiting. Maybe it wasn't in the room? Oh well, it wasn't like she really sacrificed anything for this trip.

It was a good thing he'd made sure R was properly on a sugar-run (something so infrequent he was wondering how, exactly, the two times he needed someone to visit, the ves-- R was gone) before telling the Lady to come about; the knock startled Anti into knocking over an old plate, but as it was already on the floor, nothing broke. He turned his eyes to the door, wide and suddenly confused.

... People arrived by knocking on doors. He recalled that, vaguely, from the visit with R's brother and not-Kairi, and there was a sudden panic. He couldn't touch the door. It had a keyhole and-- and it was a door!

Fretful, the heartless mentally whined, glancing about as though a grapple would magically appear. He could... Anti turned to the vent, and started toward it, before stopping. R didn't want him to leave. He didn't want to leave. But how could he tell the Lady to come in? And that was when the heartless turned to the notepad.

It had various words scribbled on it, an attestment to R's continued 'teaching,' but there was still a pencil and room enough to write, extremely messily, ENTR PLZ. There. It worked. It took a good minute, but it worked. Now... He just had too... -- No, he couldn't. Unable to close his eyes, the Ant heartless shuffled toward the door, crouching like he was about to crawl into the floor and quickly, so fast the paper nearly missed, shoved the piece under the door.

Then he was over and behind the bed, hiding, but hey! He did it! And he didn't leave the room! He was a good boy.

There was a rustle of paper and amber eyes slowly flicked downwards. A sheet of paper slipped out from underneath the door and there were large, messy words scrawled on it, almost illegible. But she bent down and picked it up, gazing at it with a frown.

ENTR PLZ.

How crude.

But she opened the door, stepping inside and closing it gently behind her. Didn't the creature share a room with the other one -- Ryuuzaki or something. But she looked around and stepping further into the room with her hands behind her back and short locks falling over her face as she tilted her head to the side.

What did they call it -- Cake?

"Ahh, Cake?" Freya said quietly, expression glassy.

Yes? It was an instinctive reaction by then, even if the speech-pattern didn't match up with R's at all, to immediately come out of hiding and look for the Lad---

-- Whaaat? The heartless promptly fell backwards, sitting down like a stunned dog on the bed he'd hopped up on, 'blinking' (he never could get his eyes to fully close) rapidly, wondering if he was suppose to duck and hide, but...

... No heart. This was the no heart lady. How did she become a ... he?

A dart from the corner and her gaze flicked to the side, watching a small creature scuttle out with its big head and wide, staring gold eyes and then it stumbled back, sitting there upon the bed. Was that... Like a confused expression. Like it didn't understand. A hand reached up and held a lock of her short, short hair, feeling a bit out of place but other than that, nothing.

"Cake?"

She repeated, moving closer and the hand shifting downwards to tighten the tie around her neck.

"You are... Are you alright?" No real concern in her voice but she was a little curious on why the creature would just be sitting there, blinking and staring.

And then there was an even larger barrier between the two of them than before - he couldn't understand words very well, but he figured he recognized 'alright' (or was that 'all night?') yet... her tone was utterly wrong.

Her. Yes. It had be the Lady. Because... who else would it be? Certainly not Sora or Axel, and it was too soon for R to return. So, curiousity overtaking shock slowly, the heartless shoke his head and quietly, politely, nicely, wrote in big, blocky letters:

'who r u?'

-- And very calmly tossed it to the advancing 'Lady.' He was such a gent, really.

The creature -- Cake -- was writing something and she watched with staring amber eyes and then he tossed her the paper. she bent down, picking it up with the scrawled writing of, "who r u?".

"I'm Freya."

She responded, tossing some of the longer locks back. "The one who made the dare towards you?" She stepped closer, near the bed. How silly that the creature did not remember her -- or maybe he just didn't recognize her but she didn't think she looked any different, but perhaps that was just her.

... Freya... dare... you. -- Oh. Right. The Lady; and he'd -- he'd dared her to dress like a guy and holy Kingdom, she - he - really did it, that was so creepy how did she do it was she going to really dress him up?!? Of course, a heartless didn't really have a gender, but he had a sense he was a he; and his bigger form... looked like a he.

This did not mean the he could willingly jump 'clothes' or whatever the Lady-Freya did that was so weird (this thought wasn't only because it seemed to be impossible for him to fully remove his 'clothes' in the first place).

'ok. I SUrprizd sum1 u kno!' Annnd, another toss back, though this time Anti retreated further onto the bed - almost to the edge - as well, antenna twitching nervously and looking rather much like a frightened ... cat-insect.

Perhaps it was surprised but she couldn't tell because the expression it held upon its face all looked the same to her so she just watched as it scribbled something and then handing it back over to her. Well, not hand, more like flung, but she picked it up nonetheless, sitting down on the bed with one leg crossed over the other, the epitome of elegance.

Surprised? Someone she knew.

Freya glanced back over at it but it had scurried away from her and she stared with those large, unblinking eyes.

"Really now? Who may that be?" She asked, setting the scrawled-upon sheet down beside her.

'birde.' Was the quick reply, though he wasn't sure if that was really what she was asking - he was still getting over the original shock, not throwing this paper but rather... scooting it forward tentatively, resisting the urge to hide behind the bed and -- gawk at the not-Lady.

As it was, all he could do was plod over to the pillows against the headboard, watching her the whole way with large yellow eyes and only glancing away when he snatched one up, holding it like some sort of shield. Scary, scary not-Lady who was supposed to be a girl but she wasn't and what had it been that he'd said on the box that had made her come over?

Birde?

Bird.

Who did she know that was a bird? That Jet one, maybe. But no matter, it was unimportant. And how strange that Cake was not scurrying away again, but moving forward carefully. Unfortunately, it slipped past her, grabbing a pillow and maybe it looked cute but she wouldn't know because she didn't care about these things.

Finally, she spoke up, brushing a bang out of her face. "So I win." She said with that quiet satisfaction though her face kept the same porcelain staring stare.

'Wut,' Anti scribbled quickly, peeking over the pillow just long enough to toss it toward the figure. Back to words he didn't understand verbally - noises, garbling, things a shadow wasn't meant to care about, anyway.

And he didn't care. Not really. Words were meaningless. The Kingdom was all that was needed. But-- now, the Kingdom was gone, and he wanted to figure out what R went on about when he talked to his brother on the box. So confusing. At least the not-Lady was relatively quiet; though she lacked... emotion, and that made Anti wary. Was she a nobody? No, impossible. Just... weird.

He felt like he'd met someone like that before, but the memory was fuzzy and ignorable.

"I win."

She repeated, not seeing the reason of why it was necessary to say those words again when they were simple to understand. But then again, everything was simple to her so this wasn't something to linger on.

"The bet?"

Freya added, settling closer on to the bed, and turning her shoulder slightly so she could watch Cake. "You said I couldn't do it and I could. And this is proof." She ran her fingers through her short, short hair. "We also need to complete the dare as well." She beckoned it closer with a crook of her fingers but she doubt it would come any near because it seemed scared and nervous around her which was very silly.

Nnh, the lady still was making no sense, but he was figuring she meant something to do with her - surprisingly enough - short hair. Oh... wait... boy. He'd said she couldn't be in the play as Dracula because she was a girl.

......

So she got a gender change? Talk about extremes! Sitting down on the bed, the heartless stared blankly (with a bit of respect; really, changing genders for something like that was somewhat impressive) at her as she made a funny motion that he recalled R doi--

And just like that, Anti was up and plodding over to her, though he barely realized it. A command was meant to be followed, especially one from R; and so what if this not-Lady did it? She said something about a 'dare...' Dare? The fun-dare-entry-on-the-box thing?

Her expression flicked with momentary surprise as it moved towards her obediently. she didn't think it would actually follow out with her... request, and it did so she patted besides her, not wanting the creature to hid like she was some sort of terrifying being when she was just a simple little... something.

But it was such an easy thing to just cut one's hair, and when you weren't even human, changing everything about yourself was quite simple. It was surprising in a way how truly easy it was and a small smile flicked across her lips at this thought.

"You'll need to stay still so I can make you look pretty."

All he really caught was 'stay,' but the immediate reaction he'd had before put him on edge (or as on-edge as a nearly brainless heartless could be without seeing some kid waving about a keyblade) -- yet not wary enough to really stop his curiousity. Tilting his head once more, Anti's claws twitched as though it was only a step away from tearing apart the bedsheets.

The question was clear - what are you talking about? - even if he couldn't talk. But there was something he was supposed to know... a dare...? To make him someone else...?

... Eh?
