Murdermurderlunch. [ Active ]
Who: AntiSora ([info]ofheart) killing Akito ([info]fangking) and Mighty ([info]awarmred)~
What: Philosophical wonderings, with a break for lunch.
When: Right after Mitsuru (so this is... forward-dated) dies. D: ... So... Late nightish.
Where: Cafeteria.
Warnings: Eeer. Most likely, graphic death(s) later on. Until then, confusion!

It was an interesting thing. The lights were off in the small, cut off area of the cafeteria, just outside of the kitchen doors - he'd found the wires and cut the power in the delicious-smelling room, if only so he could sit comfortably on one of the .... 'flat' chairs without wishing to hide - and 'Sora' was... thinking.

That was the second most interesting thing. His - 'mind' seemed clear, and though he didn't recognize anything that floated by in that space behind his eyes, it was still there. It wasn't just blackness with highlighted spots where hearts were located; he could honestly 'think' sit down and he could then sit. It was amazing. The suffocating feel of all of his kin had been second nature, but 'thinking' back, it hadn't felt very nice. Because he'd always known something was wrong and now...

That something was emphasized. Why was he feeling less empty than he had? The heartless, himself, was unaware of how he knew he was empty, but he did - just like he knew he was because he was gathering hearts for the Kingdom. For release. He didn't keep any of them. So why did it 'feel' like he was? A clearer mind, thoughts, words: these were not things he knew how to deal with. So he sat, and he thought, and he wondered. Wondered why he wasn't going for his heart. Wondered why he didn't 'feel' like going for anyone's heart, not really. Wondered why he felt 'scared' at that, whatever 'scared' was. It was an emotion. Emotions were for those with hearts... So did that...

No. Now he was just feeling confused. And as murky as emotions were, feeling confused came like second nature, albeit it was faint and detached, like he could say (say? Hah. He couldn't talk) he was confused, but when asked what that meant, he'd be... confused. How confusing.

And as the lights flickered on - fixing themselves, which was very strange, but very normal, too, because Heartless didn't have expectations, and he was a heartless - Sora hopped off his chair, only to scuttle under it like some sort of demented insect gone wrong.

Wrong... something was wrong...

-- A demented insect whose mind was stuck on repeat, claws wrapped around the metal legs as he sat, calm as he had on top, under the chair. Like it was normal. And it was. There was... nothing he was supposed to be doing. -- Wait, what? This hadn't happened before.

..........

Noise. That garbled language drifted into AntiSora's mind, dragged from thoughts of precious-hearts and the wonderful Kingdom-that-was-not at the continued use of it, annoying little sounds penetrating his 'thoughts' and he so rarely had thoughts, he wanted more of them, because they made him feel better than the lump that had grown in his stomach that made him feel full, when he really wasn't, and now he'd lost his train of thought and he realized that two heart-vessels were in the room, in reach, and he...

He... still needed to collect for the Kingdom. But what if the Kingdom wasn't taking the hearts? He needed to be a heartless. He needed to find his heart. But these would have to do, first.

Bumbling, not at all hiding like he had the last three times, AntiSora scuttled from under the chair, silent as ever even as he was formed above the floor, eyes big and yellow and staring through the metalwork that was on his eye-level at the feet of the two heart-vessels.

And he simply rounded a table, for some reason not slinking under it, promptly standing just a few tables away, one claw resting on an out-of-place chair, antenna flicking as he looked at the... two heart-vessels.

Oh. Two. Hm. He'd never dealt with two... Would they notice him? --- Notice? Heart-vessels were not supposed to notice! Quick as a lightning bug, the ant melded into the floor, even if he'd been standing there for a good five or ten seconds, regardless of the heart-vessels' actions.

Mighty took no notice of the approaching heartless. His eyes were on Akito; serious. The warmth in his voice had faded away, leaving it dull and quiet. His hands were tight at his sides; palms open.

"The last two times there were deaths... I didn't do anything. I could have prevented those deaths, maybe." His voice was quiet; eyes distant. "... I won't let anyone else get hurt."

Akito blinked, listening quietly to the other. It was nice to be able to look down at someone, not in a mean way, but...people like Eriks-kun, Wolfwood-san and Raito-san, they were all so tall. It was a pain to constantly stare up at people that were just about twice your size, his neck often stared to hurt afterward.

"....You're like a hero, Mighty-san." Akito stated openly, a warm smile pulling on the corners of his lips. "One of those people who are really nice, considerate, noble, brave and protect others."
Ikki-kun, Agito, Udou-kun, Eriks-kun and a few others he knew where like that. Strong and dependable. It was a subject he couldn’t help but smile upon, he was happy he was friends with all those people. Maybe someday, he would be strong enough to protect someone, not always make Agito take the blow for everything. Someday…

“But what about you, what if you get hurt?”

.....

They were quiet. The room was practically bursting with 'emotion,' so much so AntiSora almost wanted to see if he could taste it (which he knew he couldn't; he didn't even a tongue, whatever that word meant, and tongues were for... tasting) but to do that... He'd have to appear. And that went right against the laws of heartless survival. The element of surprise was how his instincts commanded him to be - ambush, fight, kill, take, feed the Kingdom...

Kingdomit'sallabouttheKingdom, the sentence, as fast as every other thought, floated into his mind. And just like that, AntiSora surfaced from the floor once more, having cut the distance between them by half. As silent as ever, the heartless continued its shuffle forward, more distracted than he had ever been before. He wanted.

He wanted.

No, he didn't want. Because AntiSora was a heartless, and heartless were for the Kingdom, it had been repeated so many times, why was he doubting it--- stupid heart-vessels, always distracting him from his quests, and these two weren't any better, even if they felt like some of the purest he'd seen in a while, which meant he should take them and help the Kingdom. It was decided. It was decided in a matter of three seconds, and at the conclusion, AntiSora's claws flexed, just a short table-length away from the duo, crouched and staring right at them, ready to spring.

Ready. But again, those nasty 'thoughts' entered his mind, and he really didn't like them anymore. But... the Kingdom. It was-- It couldn't be gone, but he--

Distracting heart-vessels. Annoying heart-vessels. Pure hearts stuck in selfish bodies, he would free the hearts, like he had before. But.. was there reason too? Since when did a heartless need reason?

The comment was enough to snap him out of it, if only for a moment. "I'm no hero," he said softly, embarassed, but smiling. "Thank you. I hate fighting, and I especially hate this strength, but if I must use it, it will be to protect others.

This couldn't be the same boy who posted that entry. He'd have to contemplate that, later. Didn't someone say something about a split personality... Regardless.

"... Though, Akito, I have to ask you to go where it's safe. Into your room."

He smiled again, genuinely, warmly - almost himself again, at the boy's concern. "I'll be fine. I can handle myself."

His ears twitched then, and he turned to look at the new arrival. It looked strange, but not dangerous. None-the-less...

"Hello," he said cautiously, tensing up, "Who might you be?"

'Who the fuck does he think he is? I'm protecting you, no one needs to tell-'

Akito nodded his head, shifting the pair of ATs in his arms to a more comfortable position, maybe practice would have to wait until the morning. Besides, Akito didn't really feel easy about leaving the hotel at night anyhow. "You're modest." He said, ignoring Agito's words, smile still on his lips. Most heroes were, or they would be just, as Agito put it, 'cocky bastards with a stick up their ass.'
"Mmn. Alright. I just came to get something to eat, then I'll head back so you don't have to worry about me and I don't distract you...but, be careful, Mighty-san. I'd be sad if anything happened to you." Akito said, stepping away from the other. It was true enough though they had really only just met, he liked the heroic armadillo and who ever he liked or considered a friend he naturally cared for.

It was then that his attention shifted to that of the small shadow looking....blob? His eye widened curiously, resisting the urge to walk over to the creature, pick it up and hug it well commenting on how cute it was.
'What the fuck is that thing?'
"I don't know..." He mumbled, trying to keep his voice low so Mighty nor the shadowy creature thought he was talking to himself. He was more open about talking to Agito with Akira or someone around that understood their bond.

'Fuck it, Akito. Hurry up and grab something to go and lets leave. I don't trust this place, if Elks was on I would have requested he walked you here.'

"......."Akito frowned poutishly, he didn't like being treated like he needed a babysitter even if he did like Eriks-kun's company a lot. Shaking his head he offered a smile to the shadow. "Are you lost?" He asked, it wasn't a hard thing to do in just a big place.

AntiSora gave a pause in response to both of them, antenna flicking as he picked up on the weird sounds - always the weird sounds - even if his eyes would never fully blink or close. These heart-vessels were odd. They made sounds at each other, and now it seemed like... they were making sounds at him. Familiar sounds, but not sounds a heartless could understand - he understood the shadows well enough, but everything else...

Gibberish. What were they saying? They didn't look mean, and they weren't shouting that loud, and their hearts were too pure to be in command on his kin, so... They were... being 'nice.' Asking something?

Maybe it wasn't the heart-vessels that made the strange noise for these two. Maybe it was the heart. And the heart was asking... AntiSora lifted a claw, curling back two of them so he could 'point' at the two, antenna perking up and his pounce-like stance changing so he was nearly on his tip-toes. Pointing at their chests was not easy from ground-level, after all.

Mighty shifted at the comment, slightly uncomfortably. "Thanks... well, I could walk you, I guess?" His keen hearing did pick up the comment, but he noted it for future reference. Thinking out loud wasn't uncommon, after all, even if "I don't know" was more like an answer than anything. That "split personality" thing was sounding more and more realistc, now...

Mighty blinked at the creature. "Are you... pointing at our chests?"

Akito shifted his gaze over to Mighty, he didn't want to bother the other or take him away from his main goal, but walking back to his room alone...didn't really agree with him that much. So he didn't bother turning down the offer. "If you want. Thanks." Akito said, ignoring the grunt that Agito gave. Just because Agito didn't want to make more friends didn't mean Akito had to be the same way.

Akito blinked, looking down at his own chest, or rather the pair of skates he held close to his chest. "Hmm?" This made him think of Chii, when she placed her hand on her chest to feel her heart. Was that what the creature was referring to? "Do you mean...heart?"

........ Heart. Finally, a non-garbled word. AntiSora had no idea what the red one was talking of; he set his eyes on the blue one the second he heard the word, a word his kin would even whisper, the only word the darkness could hold. So they had been talking of him and freeing the hearts! Wonderful! These heart-vessels weren't bad at all, letting their hearts speak so clearly...

Nodding happily, the Heartless disregarded the skates on the blue one's chest in favor of crouching back down, flexing his claws and... pouncing.

The heart was so loud on this one. So perfect. It had a half of darkness, but the Kingdom wouldn't mind. AntiSora's "pounce" was, in actuality, a fierce leap, claws outstretched and and grabbing and -- well. He was hoping for a clean land on the blue heart-vessel, in which he was able to cling with one hand and cut swiftly through its chest with the other, all the way to the heart.

Hoping.

(OOC: WRY DID YOU LEAVE D: tell me if this is godmodey or wrong k?)

Being distracted from his goal wasn't ideal - but atleast the boy wouldn't be alone. He watched the creature's reaction; looking happy, before---

What the hell?!

The armadillo had quick reflexes, though - those had not dulled. So when the heartless leapt, claws outstretched - Mighty leapt too. His was a purely defensive position, putting himself between the boy and the heartless. The pain was instant; searing, more sharp and acute than he remembered. The claws sunk into arm, the force of the pounce making him stumble backwards. For a second, all he could do was struggle to keep upright. And then.

"Ak-akito... run..."

Akito perked up once the heartless nodded, looking pleased and the Akito gave the correct answer. Maybe it was like Chii and couldn't talk, it was cute like her, but of course in a different sort of manner. Maybe he could coax the small creature into coming with Mighty and him to his room. Yes! Introduce him to the few bunnies he had hidden in his room and then teach the heartless to speak and learn---

These thoughts were cut short by the sudden leap, half thinking it was a harmless and playful tackle, the other....,well to be more specific, Agito snapping to the fact that it wasn't an innocent leap. No, claws were out, an attack.
'AKTIO!!'

Akito blinked, straighting and snapping to it only in time to see the armadillo dash in front of him, taking the hit in his place.
Akito's face feel, his eye widening, staring at the other in disbelief. "Mighty-san!"

'Akito! Fuck! Akito! Get out, run! Fucking forget him! Move the fucking eye patch! FUCK!' Agito screamed, demanded, panicked.

Arm? 'Sora' did not like arms - they only held blood, and while that was fine and dandy, he didn't feel the hungriest he ever had (which was weird) and... it wasn't what the Kingdom wanted. His feet swung about in the air, claws dug tight into the armadillo's odd skin, eyes narrowed and glaring and why'd this vessel interfere? The other agreed! This hadn't been an attack -- no, he'd been taking an offer, was all, and... and... the vessels lied. They weren't talking with their hearts, they were liars, defectors, selfish mortals made from the light disgusting---

AntiSora wasn't the slowest of his kin. One of his hands was apparently stuck, engraved too deeply into the armadillo's arm to readily pull back, but the other one - the other one, he pried out with a sickening rip, feet scrabbling on the very same arm to lift him up as far as his captured wrist would allow, and just plain slash at the heart-vessel's chest. The other, blue one was stock-still, he could see that from the corner of his eye - maybe that one hadn't lied, but the red one was... He'd take out the red one and then free the blue.

Perfect. They should be thanking him, and thanking the Kingdom. He'd release them...

It was harder than he expected, fighting with a creature on his arm. He was quite out of practice - not having fought for so long. He didn't want to risk Akito being hurt, either, and there was also the matter of the searing pain and creature latched onto his arm. The one who had just painfully ripped the other claw out of him. He felt his knees buckling, and fought just to stands up.

With his free hand, he shakily grabbed for the creature, but not before said claws had contacted his chest and raked across it.

He almost screamed, but the armadillo couldn't even manage that. What came out was a wheeze, a wheedling gasp that sounded more like he was choking than anything else. His fingers shakily wrapped around the creature's torso.

"Ak-akito.. r-run.. pl-please..."

Now AntiSora was twisting, one claw stuck and the other one turned from the red one's chest to its other arm that seemed to want to close in on his chest, swiping and slashing at the shaky limb however he could, all the while pulling and yanking at his stuck-claw (it was like plates; what was with that?) and the only thing that distracted him was the garbled sounds. Even if he didn't halt any attacks he waged on the red one's arms, feet kicking in mid-air also, his eyes seemed to turn to the blue one, watching it for a reaction -- but it was the nice, heart-filled one, he'd decided, and sure enough, there it was, just standing there... Not moving away...

He could smell the fear in the air, pounding through the blue one's heart, but it wasn't leaving. It wasn't fighting, like the red one. So there were good hearts... He'd make it quick, for the blue one. Unlike this red... 'armadillo.'

Akito whimpered, hands shaking, no, his whole body was trembling. He didn't know what to do, running seemed like the smartest of them all but he couldn't bring his feet to move. Besides, what if Mighty couldn't handle the creature, what if he died? Akito...Akito couldn't live knowing he left...and at the rate the fight was going Mighty was going to-

"DONT JUST FUCKING STAND THERE! AKITO! SNAP OUT OF IT AND FUCKING MOVE! DO SOMETHING, RUN OR FLIPP THE GODAMN EYEPATCH! AKITO! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!" Agito yelled, only succeeding in making the boy even more unnerved. Too many things at once, to much going on. Mighty was being hurt and Akito wouldn't even move. Akira was wrong, he wasn't strong, only Agito was. He couldn't even do more then stand on ATs.
....
ATs.
Akito blinked, shifting his gaze to the pair of skates, the Fang Regalia, Agito's treasure, the symbol that he was the Fang King of the Bloody Road.
Frowning, Akito took hold of one of the skates, perfectly polished, and of course always kept sharp just how Agito wanted.

" DO SOMETHING!"

That's exactly what he would do, with that, Akito took a step forward and throw the skate at the evil little creature(being careful of Mighty, at lest he could aim), ignoring the surprise choke Agito gave. He wouldn’t leave Mighty, no it wasn’t right.

Mighty had been hoping to rip the creature off of himself.

But he never got the chance. As his trembling fingers had snatched for it; it had stopped attacking his chest in favour of dealing with the new developpment. Mighty's grip on the creature was weak at best before the attack; then came the tearing and the slashing and the armadillo's arm was knocked aside, now sporting several gashes. He gritted his teeth against the pain, wiling himself not to scream. His vision was blurring; his body trembling. There went his primary modes of attack; what was he supposed to do now?

"A-akito... I'm b-begging you..."

But Akito wasn't running. He was doing something else. Mighty caught the attack out of the corner of his eye; it was like he was watching it underwater. What were those things? Would they even hurt the creature? What if it drew attention to him?! Damnit, what was the boy doing?!

Having been so occupied with the weird-plates on the red one's arms, the heartless didn't even think to glance at the blue one - and that was exactly why he found himself pinned to the floor, something sharp and owowowooowpainwaitIfeelnopainHURTS right through a claw that had been upraised for a strike, shadows leaking and dissolving from it as AntiSora twitched like a squashed spider, yellow eyes trained on the wound he wasn't supposed to get woundssss...

This was the way it was for a good decade-second-worth. Spaztic feet scrambling, eyes glued to the claw and the thing sticking in it, antenna going hay-wire and not a sound coming from his throat because he had no throat. It was morbid, really; and by the time he'd figured out what to do, a sizable hole had started on his right 'hand,' darkness still fragmenting from it and ooooooowwwmakethempay--

He melted in to the floor, escaping from the blade's imprisonment, but not much else. An imprint, the heartless ignored the red one, crawling about as a shadow toward the blue, quick as ever and an utterly malevolent idea in his 'mind.' A simple idea, but one nonetheless - he'd scurry, as a shadow, under the heart-vessel, dart up its clothes (the clothing was like foot holds to a mountain climber for heartless, really) and tear out its heart.

It didn't deserve one, anyway.

Akito swallowed the lump in his throat and forced his legs to move, quickly making his way over to Mighty.

" Wrong Way. Wrong Way! WRONG FUCKING WAY!"

Of course he knew that, Akito wasn't stupid, but he had to help Mighty, he couldn't leave him. "M-Mighty-san!" He cried out, dropping next to the armadillo. He paled more so at the sight of the wound and all the blood. Not good. Not good. But there wasn't time.
Quickly, Akito shrugged off his jacket and tried to wrap it around Mighty's arm. It wasn't much, but there wasn't time to do anything else.

"AKITO!"

"Mighty-san, lets go." He breathed, his whole body was trembling as he rose to his feet, grabbing the other gently and running with him. He would love to move the eye patch and let Agito handle things but...the Fang King would leave Mighty behind. Akito was worth more to Agito then Mighty would be. Akito couldn't let that happen. "I-I'm sorry Mighty-san! Sorry, Sorry" He whimpered, tears rolling down his cheeks. He was scared to death, and that thing would be after them soon.

Blood, blood.... vision blurring, blood pounding in his ears... it was a battle in itself to run behind Akito.

"L-leave m-me..." but he didn't have the strength to pull away. The jacket had been wrapped around his arm, clinging to it loosely.

His movement speed was greatly reduced; it took all he had just to keep up with Akito. "D-don't b-be scared... I-I... I have to s-stop it... don't b-be s-sorry... j-just.. r-run..."
