Hide and seek~ [Active]
Who: Al ([info]sealed_soul), bitty!Ed ([info]young_prodigy) and Roy ([info]flamealchemist)
What: Hide and seek~ Ed's hiding, Al's seeking and Roy just happens to be around
When: After this
Where: Second floor of Wing A to start
Warnings: Not a clue :l

Edward really hadn't changed at all.

Honestly, Alphonse hadn't really been surprised when the younger Ed had turned what should have been something simple and easy into a game of hide and seek. So far, his only clues were that the boy was in wing A, and was either on the first or second floor. Since Al knew a far amount of people who lived on the first floor, the second had been where he was going to start.

He stepped off the stairs onto the landing, not wearing his AT for once. Looking around, he pulled his hands out of his jeans' pockets and clapped, kneeling and touching the floor. Sparks flew and lightning trails of alchemy raced across the floor, into the nearest rooms. Small parts of his soul were in those trails, and as they attached to varying bits of furniture in the rooms, he could count the ones nearest the stairs out.

He continued walking along, cutting the alchemy off to the previous rooms and feeling the odd sensation as parts of his soul came back to him. Idly he wondered if he'd run into anyone. He knelt down to repeat the process a short distance away from the stairs, around the tenth or so room on the floor.

Mustang let his thoughts drift on the place, idly looking through the notes he had made in his notepad held in one hand as he made his way down the stairs down to level two. Having been doing somewhat of an exploration of the upper levels, thinking best to know the place if he was stuck here.

Careful not to jar his wound as he moved down the stairs, though his wound seemed to have healed a bit since Jade's treatment of it. Before he could think on it any more that familiar sound of alchemy reached his ears, moving the rest of the way down to the second level of the building he looked down the corridor in time to see Alphonse clap hands again and touched the ground, watching those trails of lightning race into the nearby rooms.

Stepping forward and out into the corridor he walked towards the other Alchemist, putting the notebook back into his coat, a friendly enough expression on his face, "Hello Alphonse"

Maybe it would have been easier to just give his room number to Al and see the older version of his younger brother but there was nothing fun in it. As interesting as this place was, there was only so much he could do with it snowing outside. With this game of hide and seek he could have something to do while seeing just how good Al had became with alchemy. It was obvious that he wouldn’t be able to out do Alphonse in spar, he never really had been able to, but training with teacher and everything Ed at lest had the advantage with alchemy. But now…with six years in between him and Al, he wasn’t so sure.

Currently, Ed had his head pressed against the wooden door, listening for any sign of the other Elric. He heard clapping, but that didn’t really mean anything to him. Hopefully, he wouldn’t mistake someone else walking by for his brother, that could be trouble but where was he?

“Hello Alphonse.”

That made him blink and press more against the door, trying to listen. Whoever the speaker was, he didn’t know, but the name…. A small smirk pulled on the corner of his lips as he pushed away from the door, grabbing the knob, turning it slowly and quietly so he could peek out. The blond couldn’t really get that good of a view but just enough to guess where his target was standing. Whoever was speaking to Al would be caught in the brother’s cross-fire but it was pretty much harmless…for the most part. Taking out the piece of chalk from his pocket, Ed neatly drew a transmutation circle on the floor just by the door. He was ready for this, Al had gave him more then enough time to prepare. “Hope you don’t expect me to just sit around waiting on you, Al.” His words were of course muttered under his breath, meant only for him. “Here it goes.”

With that, Ed placed his hands on the circle, causing it to light up and for sparks to fly. The alchemy flowing out to the hallway and causing the floor to rock upward in ridges, making a direct course for Al and whoever his friend was.

It was interesting, talking to someone when you were technically in about three or more different places at once. Or at least your soul was. Alphonse looked up at his name and recognised Roy, standing up as the lightning flares from the alchemy darted off again. And yes, tall Al was tall.

"Hello Colonel," he greeted friendly, hands by his sides. Which was just as well really. He heard a crackle that was long since associated with alchemy and started, glancing around. At the sight of the floor rocking up, hands immediately clapped and Al slammed them into the floor, sparks flying and ripping along, the transmutation that Al had set off canceling out the one heading for them. The younger Elric smiled as he stood up. "Sorry about that, sir. The younger Ed and I happen to be playing a little game and he seems determined to make it hard for me." He smiled apologetically at Roy. Now, that transmutation had to have come from somewhere nearby...

The Colonel nodded as Alphonse greeted him, watching those lightning flares darted off, from what he could see Alphonse was using a form of Alchemy that he was not familiar with. Looking up slightly to the taller other, noticing just how tall Alphonse was without the skates.

"I don't believe I've seen that form of Alchemy befo-" Before he could finish his sentence the sound of alchemy in use reached his ears, turning to see the transmutation ripping along towards them and Alphonse own move to counter it. Incendiary cloth glove already on and ready to use, lowering his hand though as Alphonse spoke, "it's no problem, is that so? The younger Edward hmm? Trying to find him are you?" He replied and asked before, "If so, must be hard given how small he must be,"

It wasn't hard to guess that Alphonse would be able to cancel out his transmutation. He could hear both his brother's voice and who ever this Colonel guy was talking. Well, if the guy didn't have the bright idea of getting away from Al and letting the Elric's go on with their game of hide 'n' seek, then Ed wouldn't feel sorry if he got hit in the cross fire.

Regardless, he moved away from the door, starting to draw out yet another circle on the ground. This one was going to be bigger and a lot harder to stop then the floor simply rocking up. Finishing the circle, he started to place his hands down on the chalk line only to come to a sudden pause.

Small...?

Growling, he jumped to his feet and slammed open the door, glaring down the hall way. "Screw you! Who are you calling small?! I'm still growing you stupid dog of the mil...military..." Ed's tantrum fell short, blinking at the dark haired man standing by his brother. What was a state alchemist doing here with Al? Wait, Al!
"Damnit." Ed dashed back into his room, slamming the door shut, cursing Mustang under his breath.

"You wouldn't have seen that kind of alchemy before, sir. I don't know anyone else who can use it," Alphonse explained, before grinning a little at Roy's words. "The alchemy helps with that-"

However, right after that, he heard one of the tantrums Ed was famous for. Young or old, Ed was still Ed, and sensitive about his height. He glanced over to where his little-big brother was and just grinned at him. Looks like running to Roy had its perks after all. That made things easier on him. But first, finish talking to the colonel. "As I was saying before you so kindly helped me out, sir, you wouldn't have seen my alchemy before. I didn't know it was possible until I got here myself. I can transmute a small part of my soul into objects and control them, for a little while at least."

Speaking off, he cut the last lot of transmutations he'd done short and again felt that weird sensation as his soul came back together and joined up in one piece again. That felt really weird at times.

Roy looked back to Alphonse as he spoke, "Hmm is that so?" he replied calmly before the door slammed open, looking over to the younger Edward and that tantrum, a slight smirk on his face, right on cue. Edward, even his younger self as was here was easily predictable when it came to anyone mentioning his stature.

"Certainly seems his temper hasn't changed at all," he commented as the young Edward slammed the door shut as he rushed back into the room. Shaking his head and turning his attention back to Alphonse as he spoke, nodding as he took in what he said, "Your welcome...hmm, interesting, I've never heard of such a use of Alchemy or at least successful use, I gather that it's similar in manner to how your brother bound your soul into the armour? Hmm, sounds a useful technique, does it not prove any danger to you though?" He asked, thinking on the alchemy Alphonse spoke of.

It was easy enough to get back to his already drawn circle and it didn't sound like Al or that jerk were chasing after him.

Perfect.

Edward kneel down in front of his transmutation circle and with a mischievous smirk on his lips, he placed his hands down on the chalk circle. It gave off a low glow, which only made Edward's smile grow. The reaction; a pipe coming out of one of the hallway walls and spraying a steady stream of water at the pair of alchemist. Perhaps not a flood or anything too drastic but enough to possibly soak them both since it was just a pipe. Whatever the case, this was suppose to be fun. Nothing serious because if Ed was being serious, everyone would be in trouble. Edward Elric, the soon-to-be Greatest Alchemist there ever was.
Yeah, nothing wrong with a title like that. He grinned at the thought, standing back up and picking up the stick of chalk.

Now what?
