Early Gifts~ [ Complete ]
Who: Jade ([info]necromance_this) and Akito/Agito? ([info]sky_shark), maybe Kaito ([info]ukerobo) later!
What: A visit~
When: Before the concert takes place. After this
Where: Akito's room.
Warnings: Agito, more fluff. As if Jade needs another log~


He knew that Akito was a teen and he had been researching this holiday. Candy canes, trees, gifts, music were involved. He had gotten fond of the teen, despite the darker side, Agito, being in him.

Snatching up a bag full of treats, candy canes, cookies and eggnog, he headed for Akito's room.

Cid had gotten on his case for getting into a fight. Smiling a little, it must've meant that the loudmouth pilot considered him to be a friend. Reminded him of himself whenever he gave Luke a scolding. Cid wasn't a bad guy, he mused. Loud, but not bad.

The colonel stopped in front of the door, knocking twice. Normally he would wait with his hands in his pockets, but one hand held a bag in his right hand, the left hand hung at his side.

The knock on the door was heard by the teen, but not answered in person. Akito was busy extracting the silver kitten from where she'd perched on top on the window. Which was difficult enough by itself, as he had to stand on a chair to reach up there.

He heard Jade's voice though and called out, "The door's open!" Right before silver kitty took a swipe at his hand. Thankfully claws were retracted and that gave the teen a chance to grab her.

Tugging her down -how had she gotten up there anyway?- he carefully climbed down with the kitty being held onto tightly. She was gnawing at his hair as Akito looked up to see who it was. He was expecting Jade, but you never knew.

The colonel opened up the door, stepped inside and shut it behind him. He was treated to a sight of the silver kitten chewing on Akito's hair. Amused, he watched the teen before raising his left hand to adjust his glasses. "Hello, Akito-kun."

There was something of a downside of having slightly longish hair and a kitten around. She was batting at it now, which was slightly better. That let him get his head up all the way at least.

"Hiya Jade-kun~" he chimed, beaming happily at the man. He wondered why Jade had decided to come over. He didn't really mind, but he was curious all the same.

Still carrying the bad in his right hand, he walked on over to where Akito stood. The necromancer set the bag down near Akito and waited for his reaction, he had no idea how to approach this. Giving the gift of Christmas, really. He also knew that he wouldn't remember this if he got sent home, he wanted to experience such a holiday at least once before this place decided to take him away again.

The bag got a curious look and the silver kitten was placed on the floor before the boy went to investigate. Peering inside and there was immediate reaction from his other half.

'Oh fuck no. I'm going to fucking kill him.'

Akito however, was happy to the point where anyone who knew him wouldn't have been surprised if he'd started sparkling. Teen he may have been, but it wasn't surprising to see his mentality pretty much be the same as someone much younger. Immediate ruffling through to see just what was in here stated. "Did you bring all this over for me, Jade-kun?" he asked as he looked through. Agito was expecting hyperness to hit in the next thirty seconds or less. He was gunna have a headache...

It brought a smile to the necromancer's face to see the teen ruffling through the bag. Candy canes (peppermint ones seemed to be the favorites for the holiday), chocolate chip cookies and eggnog could be found in the bag.

"Indeed I did." He mentally prepared himself to get hugged, isn't that what happens after giving a gift?

Dude, it's a good thing you did. You're not just getting hugged Jade, you're getting glomped. If there's one thing Akito does well, it's showing appreciation for something. True, it could get difficult to breath with his hugs, but that was alright~

"Thank-you, Jade-kun~~!" As expected, hyperness had just hit full force. Agito let off a quiet but venomous string of curses. His other was going to be hyper for the next day and a half. Count out getting sleep tonight.

Looks like Jade's research paid off, arm were flung around the colonel and he was getting squished a bit. Just to a point to where he couldn't breathe for a second.

He found it odd that Christmas circled around snow. He grew up in the white flaky stuff and hadn't experienced this holiday. Then again, he had been a demon child, something that he wasn't proud of now. Plus, the holiday seemed to be centered around other worlds, perhaps his just didn't do it. True, other worlds were much different, he'd discovered after being here for a few weeks now. Luke, then Asch had popped up within the last week, he was half way expecting Guy or Tear next, but he wouldn't count on it.

The colonel let out a slow breath as he hugged the teen back. "It wasn't a problem, Akito-kun."

Oh right. The light loosened his grip a little, but positively beamed as he was hugged back. And oh hey, look. We have kittens twining around our ankles. Those two were loud purrers. Akito was busy being in pure bliss right now.

The colonel felt the two kittens going around his ankles. He glanced down to see his namesake, the golden kitten. Such de vaju, for the colonel. He had pleaded with Peony to not to name the rappig after him, but Jade knew that his best friend wouldn't listen. He had been correct when Luke and the others were sent off on a mission to find the pets.

He kept his arms around the teen, he knew that he was getting soft whenever he appeared around Akito now. However, he was his smart ass self around Cid, Luke, Azula and anyone else who decided to test him. It was just in his nature to be a smart ass towards people who tried to pull punches.

Truth of the matter, he liked this side to himself, it was a nice change. He didn't have to be a smart ass for Akito, he could be nice and just happy for a change. He knew that if Luke or Asch ever found out, he would be greeted with stares like he'd gone insane. Maybe he was going insane, but it was a wonderful way to go insane.

Akito rather agreed with that idea, although he'd also strongly protest that the man wasn't going insane. It was normal to be different around different people, be nicer or kinder. And while some people -such as Agito- didn't like the idea, it was normal~ Speaking of Agito...

'Fucking hell Akito. Give the man a break, you don't have to be so clingy. You're going with him to the concert, give him some space. Fuck.' Yeah, Agito was not a contact person.

The way he said it made Akito giggle, but he did as bidden and let go, pulling back a little to beam up at Jade. "You didn't have to do that, Jade-kun~ You already do so much for me and Kaito-nii. We're going to have to do something for you soon~" He ment it too. Jade had been kind to him...he really should do something for the man.


((Tell me if Kayce gets on/has issues with plot. I'm thinking on timing stuff and something's bothering me...dunno what yet))

The teen pulled back from the colonel. "You don't have to do anything." They really didn't have to do anything for Jade.

The golden kitten went around his ankles still, which amused the colonel a bit. He hadn't mind Akito naming the kitten after him... much. He wasn't the one to stop someone from doing something as they pleased, just as long as they weren't hurting himself or others.

((Chat died, may or may not see Kayce tonight. Should I wait on posting then?))

"Neh, but I want to!" Akito replied with a smile. He really did want to do something for Jade, and perhaps Kaito too. He needed to do something for both of them, but what...

He giggled as Jade the kitten curled around the man's ankles. It was kind of funny, really. The silver kitten was investigating the bag, and Akito quickly picked her up. She had an odd fascination with chewing on things, and people food -let alone candy- probably wasn't good for her. The teen rubbed the kitty's head as he spoke next. Agito had reminded him of something. "Oh! You're still coming to the concert, right Jade-kun?"


((Hmm...I don't think Kayce'd mind. Up to you on that, I don't mind either way. Also, I'll be on the laptop in a couple of hours <333 ))

The colonel knew that this was a battle that he couldn't win. "If you insist." He sighed inwardly. He knelt down, picked up the bag and took it to the coffee table. He took out a few of the cookies and candy canes, setting them down on the table, put the carton of eggnog on the table as well.

He blinked and turned at Akito's words. "Of course, Akito-kun." Loud crowds like that typically weren't the colonel's thing, but he'd might enjoy it, he'd just never knew. He needed to make some changes, not big ones, but perhaps little ones and with Akito's help...

He smiled a bit and held up one of the candy canes. "Did you want one?"

Don't worry Jade. No one can resist the Akito when he's pouring on the adorable. Not even Agito was immune to it. The silver kitten was playing with his hair again.

The teen beamed at Jade's answer. Akito just knew Jade would like the concert. He'd been helping out with it until Agito's battle with Sora. Come to think of it, it was too bad Ikki wasn't here. Wasn't it his birthday today-?

Candy distraction! "Hai~~!" Kitten was gently deposited on the floor before he took the cane from Jade, holding onto the hook part and unwrapping the stem, before sticking it in his mouth to suck on for the couple of hours.

Speech was slightly distorted, but you could kind of tell what he was saying. "Mmm, these are good! You should try one, Jade-kun." Agito was complaining at the sickly sweetness of the candy, but knew he had as much chance of getting through to Akito as Jade did changing his mind about having something done for him.

He picked up one of the canes and looked it over. Red and white stripes where around it, he had forgotten to look up the meaning to these things. They symbolized something, right? The colonel pondered on that for a moment until he heard Akito's words again.

He wasn't a sweet eater, he knew that. He had survived on military food for years and been doing ok. He hadn't had the chance to pick up on sweets. He wasn't too sure--

--Just a second ago, he'd wanted to make little changes. With Akito looking so happy like that, he could he say no? He started pealing at the back end of it, getting the plastic off.

((Jade's mad at me and Soul. *pats the muses* They did ask for it.))

Agito was watching now, and had a sneaking suspicion that he was either going to be disappointed with the man, or highly amused. Or quite possibly both.

Akito was in complete and total bliss. Give the boy candy, he'd be satisfied for the next few hours. Life's little pleasures. Gold eye was watching Jade, waiting to see his reaction. The light knew Agito couldn't stand the sweets, mostly due to the sheer amount of riding he did (riding on sweets ment getting violently ill later, Akito had learned that the hard way), and partly because he just didn't. The shark wasn't Akito.

He was treating Akito like a little brother, he realized. Or like a child, but either way, the teen before him was family now. Before putting the cane in his mouth, he gave Akito a smile at this realization.

Minty to the taste, sticky texture.

Not his thing really, but hey it was the holidays after all.

((And mun had to get a candy cane after all this. |D Pfft, Jade doesn't love you, Soul. :|))

The smile was rewarded with a beam. May as well make the Christmas present official adoption into Akito and Agito's weird, extending family.

Although Agito was pretty damn sure that none of the people here would approve of Kaitou, their actual brother. The thought amused him.

Now you know why Akito had left the wrapper around the hook on for the moment. Sticky fingers, do not want. Or rather, Agito did not want. Akito didn't care, he let ice-cream melt all over his hands all the time. Much to the Fang King's displeasure. The light moved to the lounge and sat down as he spoke. "What do you think, Jade-kun?" he asked curiously.

Something was digging into his back behind the cushion and he blinked and investigated. Oh hey, that's where the other AT went! Skate with its' bladed wheels was placed in his lap. Better not lose that again...

He took the thing out of his mouth and joined Akito on the lounge. Sitting next to Akito, leaning back as he did so. "... Not quite what I'd expected." Which was true, the colonel had never tasted anything quite like this.

His eyes fell on the skates now. "What are those?" Funny, he knew his technology at home, but all of this was so new to him. He hadn't seen any of those types of before.

Akito expected that. He also recognised a dance around a general like/dislike answer when he heard it. But instead of commenting, he just smiled sweetly and continued sucking at his own candy cane. Agito snorted in amusement.

"Hmm? Ah, these are Agito's AT, Air Treck," he explained, lifting the skate up in a way that said Jade was free to take it and examine it if he wanted. "They're from our world; they're a little like rollerskates, but there's a motor in the wheels. These are a little different to normal AT, too," he added. "Normal AT have round wheels, and aren't as light as the Sand Tiger. Plus the Fang Regalia's installed in these."

Sensing that he didn't want to hurt Akito, he stuck the candy cane back in his mouth and took the AT from the teen. He examined it while Akito explained what it was.

Despite the stickiness forming around his lips, he was fascinated by the technology. Guy would love this, he mused. Give Guy something technological and he'll be happy for a week straight.

Taking the cane back out of his mouth, he ignored the sticky stuff for now. Unlike Akito, he wasn't used to talking with something sticking in his mouth.

"I see." He turned the skate in his right hand, candy cane in his left hand, examining the skate over. "Interesting."

Akito had to giggle a little. He wouldn't have been offended had the man told him what he thought. After all, Akito had one of most candy-hating people living in his head who complained every time he ate something sweet. He was far too used to people disliking sweets to be bothered by it.

"I'm the one who modified the Sand Tiger. Agito likes the AT lighter, he says it improves the speed and manoeuvrability. And I installed the Regalia for him. I can't use AT," he admitted then. "I can barely stand on them without falling over. Agito's the one who can use them. He's one of the top eight riders, the Fang King~" Akito said with obvious pride in his other. He'd been Fang King once, but the light couldn't ride that bloody road anymore.

'Tch, tell the man the truth, Akito. I'm not one of the top eight, I'm the fucking best.' Akito giggled at the shark's words.

The teen was giggling, if Jade had to guess, it was because of Agito. It wouldn't surprise him really. Luke and Asch had that ability to talk through their fon slots open... Speaking of which, he would have to check on that later. If they could communicate that way here anyway. Who knew with this place.

Keeping the cane in his hand, he handed back the skate to Akito. "What did Agito say?"

The light giggled again, though this time it was because Jade had figured that Agito had said something. That was a good sign, Akito would be more comfortable talking to his other if Jade knew that he could hear Agito. Akito preferred to talk to the shark out loud, it felt like he could include the dark more in things while the light was in control.

"Neh, Agito said that he's not just one of the top eight riders, he's the best~" he said with a grin as he took the skate back from Jade. While things may show that Agito had a way to go to live up to that title, Akito believed it anyway. There was no-one the shark couldn't beat if he put his mind to it. Wind King, Sky King. Agito's fangs could shred them all and always win. Though the light wasn't as bloodthirsty as the dark, he accepted it. If only just.

The colonel simply adjusted his glasses with his free hand now while listening to Akito's words. It was a habit for him really, to adjust his glasses once in a while.

"How does he talk to you?" He was curious after all, he hadn't met someone like Akito and Agito, sharing the same body.

Agito was just waiting for Jade to smart-mouth him so he could give the man exactly what he would have coming to him. When it didn't come, the shark smirked. Smart boy.

Akito was more than happy to answer any questions Jade had, and quickly fell to explaining. "We can hear each other's thoughts, sort of like talking, only in our mind. We can block things from one another too, but we don't often." They knew one another too well to do that often, too open with one another. Akito loved Agito more than anyone, and the dark existed only to protect the light.

This fascinated Jade. He was making mental notes for his notebook stashed away later, it helped him remember things or so he didn't mix-up anything of the sort. His allies knew that he could read a book in one night and tell you all about it the next morning. Probably with notes scattered around.

He wasn't looking to at to be a smart ass right now anyway.

"I see."

Wasn't the concert going to start soon? For now, he was comfortable where he was. If he only knew....

Akito nodded and hummed happily, taking a moment to pull more of the wrapper off the candy cane. Said cane was now more noticeably shorter and was acquiring a pointed end that usually happened with these things.

After placing the cane back in his mouth and sucking happily at it for a moment, he asked, "Is there anything else you want to know, Jade-kun?" He was more than happy here, talking to the man he already considered family. Have to keep an eye on the time though.

If Agito was struck with a sudden sense of wariness, he kept to himself. Nothing was going to happen. Right? There was no reason to be wary. No reason at all...

He sat there with a sense of bad feeling going into him. What was up with that? He dismissed it, simply by looking at the teen who looked quite happy. Nothing could go wrong at the concert, right?

"No, thank you, Akito-kun." Then he slid his arm over the teen's shoulders, pulling him into a sideways hug. Maybe he was just over-reacting a bit here....

He bit down a sigh.

"You're welcome, Jade-kun~" he chimed in response. The side-ways hug surprised him, but he happily returned it anyway. And the effect compounded when the destructive duo decided they wanted some, Akito giggling at the sudden presence of two very loudly purring kittens.

Ah, the concert! Akito hurriedly glanced at the clock on the wall in the kitchen. "The concert's going to start soon!" he meeped, scrambling to his feet. They still had a bit of time, but there was seats to get! Hands wrapped around one of Jade's and tugged lightly. "Come on, Jade-kun~!" Excitement compounding fast? Maybe~

"Hm." He had to smile at Akito's excitement. He would try to protect Akito if something should happen. Hesitating just for a moment, then he nodded and stood up, not minding Akito grabbing onto his hand.

"Shall we go then?" Yet, that uneasy feeling wouldn't leave the colonel.
